What do you think is the least popular pokemon

Dunsparce is a normal type?

OMG dunsparce is a normal type? wow, even I didn't know that. I bet it's one of the most unpopular pokemon so far, though there's a lot of pokemon that are like that. Most of them are in the second generation, I'm saying, not many people are gonna remember a pokemon like Corsola if it's not going to be catchable anywhere else. It was a good pokemon though. I think masquerain is unpopular too, though I can't figure out why.

Yep, weird huh? It should be a Ground type for sure. It can learn Dig and Earthquake too, I think.

That is true. And you have to take into consideration there is alot of pokemon obsessions out there, alot of pokemon social groups, and none of them revolve or obsess over Metapod. XD
 
I know people who really like almost every Pokémon mentioned in this thread. 8/

I can't really think of any Pokémon that don't have any fans. o_O; I mean, someone mentioned Probopass--it's actually one of my top favourite Pokémon. XD

Maybe something like Stantler. :( No one ever even remembers it exists. Or Exeggutor. 8|

You know precisely why like Metapod. And Caterpie. And Jigglypuff. And Wigglytuff. And Shellder. *shot* No but seriously I've actually liked Metapod after it single-handedly got me through Brock's gym in Red, lmao.

How? Lmfao, details on this Metapod win you speak of.

Exeggutor is not ignored. I've seen him utilized in quite a few battles.
 
Brock only had his Onix left and I only had Metapod left. I'd hardened to the point where all his attacks were doing one damage and, eventually, I ran out of PP on all my moves and he'd run out of PP on everything except Bide. So it became a battle that basically went Bide->Struggle->Bide->Struggle, etc. After like half an hour, I was victorious. \o/

[edit: 8| I realize my original post was a little misleading. It wasn't *quite* single-handedly, but it did take out Onix by itself which is a feat nonetheless. XD]

And is that so? Well, I'm not into competitive battling so I had no idea. On the other side of the fandom, I never see people talking about it. :O

Sounds irritating. Lol, nonetheless a good battle. But yes, I'm into competitive battling and I've seen quite a few Sunny Day +SolarBeaming + Psychic + Sludge Bomb Exeggutors. But in fandom, you are right Exeggutor is not talked about much at all, he isn't even seen in the anime much at all.
 
XD Yeah it was tedious, but luckily I was like 8 years old so when it came to video games I somehow had the patience of a saint. Now? I would've just turned it off the moment my Squirtle died, haha.

That sounds like it makes sense. XD But then, you could probably give me a terrible moveset and I'd think it makes sense so whatever. But yeah, I can only think of one episode with Exeggutor in it, yet Exeggcute is mentioned a fair few times. D:
 
What about the baby that kangaskan carries around?
It's so unpopular that even nintendo have forgotten to make it an offical Pokemon...

Yeah, when I was taught the "save before you battle a gym leader or legendary poke trick" I became very impatient at an unhealthy rate. XD Before then I was fine.

How so? Sharpedo is seen many times in the anime. I distinctly remember it in Pokemon Movie 9, swimming swiftly with May's scarf hanging on its fin.

Even as an unofficial pokemon, it is still more famous than luvdisc.
at least the baby looks like substitute, luvdisc is just ignored.
i'm serious, luvdisc is so annoying, and is always in the back corner of the PC.
The only reason to get it is to complete the pokedex, and even then, it will take a while.
its so weak, yet it has to appear near the end of the game.
And i haven't heard about poor grimer and muk in ages.
they seem like they are worth catching, but they get ignored because they are made out of slime.
 
A lot of the Gold, Silver, and Crystal Pokemon are forgotten. Main reason being that there hasn't really been a Generation II game in a while, so none of the main games focus on those Pokemon. I mean, I just browsed through the whole Gold, Silver, and Crystal Pokemon list and there were a lot of unpopular Pokemon there. Hoppip, Sentret, and Spinarak are all good examples of forgotten Pokemon, in my opinion.

Sharpedo is probably the most unforgotten Pokemon because of how awesome it is and how much better it is than Pikachu (and any other Pokemon). Because it is my favorite. Amen, sharpedo is awesome.
I also think spinarak, volbeat, and sunkern aren't that well known.
i know that they suck at almost everything, but you have to give sunkern recognition for being so cute.Pokemon can't get much cuter than sunkern.
the other two are just dull.
