legendaries and ubers. What do you think of them. My cousin Mark(weve been playing for 5 years together) always tells me to use legendary pokemon and that there stronger than any other pokemon out there. I don't believe so..I think people that give legendaries too much credit are way too lazy to make their own team.same with ubers. but he did train all of his poke's. their strong.

by stats and movepool legendaries and ubers are generally stronger... that is the reason that they are placed in a separate class... although they are considered stronger that does nto mean that they cannot be defeated by pokemon in lower classes

i don't like them. they all know they are much stronger against your regular pokemon thats not fair. unless you play shoddy battle and most of your pokemon know destiny bond and have high speed (GO FROSSLASS!)

I think if someone has one legendary or uber, 'cause they happen to like it, that's no big deal... But having an entire team of them is cheap and unoriginal in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree with that. I'm fine with 1 to possibly 3 at the most, but a full team is pathetic. Playing with your favorites is really the whole point of the game; not with the strongest. Don't believe that well ah stick a fork up ye. xO

I have a ubber team, just for fun...
I think ubber are too strong to get into a normal battle, my Mewtwo Lv. 75 can one shot the whole Pokemon league (except 2 pokemon and the Dark's ones), and my Chimecho Lv. 87 can hardly two-shot one.

I Don't think people using them are bad, but they could be more "fair play".

Many ppl think tht the ones that use Legends, are cheaters or cowards, or anything...they basically see those ppl from a different point of view, but there is nothing wrong on using legendarie pokemons, :) theyre pokemons, and u can use any pokemon u want in battles :) u dont neeed to get judged by that :) anyways i think theyre doin wht they like, and thteyre doin just great :)

Well, ubers and legends are totally different. Ubers are frowned upon because they are so strong, the only plausable way to counter one is to use another one. Making the game unbalanced. People who votes for ubers seem to disregard that fact.

From the way I see it, ubers were made strong for the story of the game. They were mentioned as "god" pokemon err something like that.

Ubers are cheap since Pokemon like Mewtwo and Dialga have a soaring 150 and 154 Special Attack, Mewtwo gains Speed.

Its unfair, I never use ubers, but I do use my fair share of Legendaries.

Why is it that everyone seems to think ubers and legendaries are the same thing? Most legendaries are actually outclassed by normal Pokémon. Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, for example, are all fairly weak because bad typing and movepools. Mesprit has a high base stat total, but its stats are scattered all over the place making it pretty useless whereas Uxie is great at walling, but can't do much else than take damage. Same goes for Registeel and Cresselia. Entei suffers from a bad physical movepool and Raikou and Suicune just get creamed in ubers. Regirock has good Attack and decent defensive stats, but its movepool isn't anything special and it has a lot of common weaknesses due to its Rock type and the list goes on...

Ubers, however, are a completely different matter. They often have extremely wide movepools and insane base stats that are in some cases combined with an awesome ability as well.

I have nothing against ubers as long as uber users stay to their own metagame and there's absolutely no reason to dislike people who use normal legendaries. I'm currently making an uber team just because the uber metagame is very different from all the other metagames and playing ubers is a way to make your ubers do something else than just sit in your boxes never to be taken out.

Thank you. Maybe you should sticky that post. But honestly, anyone who uses ubers normally, such as on Pokemon Battle Revolution, are probably kids who doesn't know any better, or casual players. They, even with ubers, are no real threat.

Whats the difference between ubers and legendaries? But really i think its fine to use ubers or legenderies but legendaries have a fatal flaw which the opponent can take advantage of

Smarties-kun's post explains the difference between the two.

I train and use any Pokémon. Even if they're weak I just train them to be stronger. And strong Pokémon I train to be even stronger. But when me and my friends battled we used only 1 uber or 2 legendary each.

Smarties-kun has won the thread. Everyone read his (her?) post.

I know, shedinjask, everyone seems to ignore it.

Don't use random Japanese words in English sentances. I know what it means, and I'm sure a lot of other people know what it means, but using it doesn't make you cool or anything. Just weeaboo.

...Sorry, but that kind of thing just bugs me a bit.

Yeah.. legendaries and ubers = different class. I reckon ubers should be banned. legenadries are part of ther metagame. Personally, i don't like ubers and legendaries.
