What do you think will be the last pokemon generation?

It might not happen now but its going to happen one day,but when it does i really hope it's massive with all the reigons like white lancer said and also all the pokemon plus heaps of different things to do.
Also they could make the elite four harder to beat. but i think there is a while left yet.

Thats a good idea! :P

but if you think about it, Pokémon isn't going to end for a very long time, it's Nintendo's money maker! It's number 2 on their list. And without it, they wont have as much money! So I doubt Pokémon is going to end soon. Think of it this way, how long has Mario been around for? Could you honestly imagine Mario games ending soon? Of course not! Their money makers! $Ca-ching!$

I think the last pokemon generation would be 4th Generation. No other else. But only 4th Generation.

I think about it like this. There re-releasing there old games to transfer between DS ones. SRE and RR, LG and compatible to trading over to DS. so, maybe a re-release on crystal which i doubt.

In my eyes, GS might be the last one. Unless they bring a new series out then a set will be coming out. But to be honest i don't really want like 500 pokemon. i think thats just abit much. as well if they release a new handheld then a re-release on them all? lol.

But these games will go on for a while, even if they don't make new games pokemon fans and new pokemon fans will still be picking up the game. I still know someone who enjoys playing crystal. So even if its not at its highest point of popularity anymore, alot of people will still be playing it for years.

as well, people have to remember, no matter how hard you try, nothing lasts forever.
