    What do you think is that 'something' suspended in a green fluid?(in Team Galactic HQ, near where you find Uxie, Mespirit, and Azelf.)

    It looks like an Egg to me.

    I think I know what you mean; there were six chambers of it (three on either side?) and when you went up to them and pressed A it said something didn't it?

    I don't know what it was supposed to be, maybe it was there to add 'atmosphere', i.e. you're just meant to assume that Team Galactic are so evil that they'd stretch to fiddling with Pokemon genetics.
     
    I understand what you're saying, and I wondered about those too. I think Neety has the right idea with them merely being for atmosphere, though I suspect they have something to do with the Red Chain since those tanks are so close to where Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit were kept.
     
    Although the area was cool looking, i cant identify that green thing you are talking about.
    I cant recall it...
     
    I was under the impression that individual 'pieces' of RED CHAIN
    were in those.

    And the fluid is for growth/preservation?
     
    For everyone who didn't know, outside the room in The Galactic Veilstone Building where you find Saturn, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, there are several green Cylinders with green light inside, and something that looks like a rock inside, if you press A at them, you get the message that "Something is suspended in green fluid".

    And, maybe they were trying to create a Mewtwo?
     
    I'm guessing just links of the chain, or just random other experiments. It really holds no significance.
     
    Perhaps the embryo of some sort of genetically created Pokemon - Mewtwo was suspended in a similar fluid-filled chamber in the movie. Maybe the experiment went awry and that's why there's no new genetic Pokemon, but the embryo is too chemically unstable for anyone to try to dispose of. So Team Galactic kept it there to add to the charming decor of the hideout XD
     
    I don't think it's part of the Red Chain..
    Aren't they still in the fluid when Team Galactic leaves?
    Why put gems in fluid?
    I think Saturn leaves with the Red Chain in hand.
    Like most have said I think it was just part of some genetic experiment.

    Maybe it's not an experiment at all, but some sort of element that oxidises rapidly when it comes in contact with the air... And maybe when this oxide is ingested, a Pokemon becomes really strong... But there's a limited supply... So it has to be kept safely in this green liquid... Which is an antioxidant... ~And maybe, just maybe, I'll write that as fanfiction... ^_^
    When it comes right down to it... Does it matter? XD
    It's just there to give atmosphere to the place and get you curious about what exactly TG's plans are... It's eeriee... ^_^

    Eggs for cloning Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf? That's what I think it was, but I wasn't paying attention when I went through there :D It was late and I was tired.
     
    Genetics. Research. Organs. ANy of them could be in this mythical green fluid.

    Although I am quite partial to the ever-so-popular BAD EGG.
