*reads all the replies* Wow, there's alot of members here that like Final Fantasy music, I guess that's to be expected:P.
Aside from what's already has been mentioned (ie Kingdom Heart, Final Fantasy 6 ~ 10, Chrono Cross/trigger, and SSBM.) Some of my other favorites include but is not limited to:
Wild Arms series - I like the music from part one the most for some reason, it captured the lonely feeling of western civilization I suppose.
Guilty Gear - I love ALL of it, the Original version to the Heavy Rock tracks version. Daisuke Ishiwatari must've poured his heart and soul in each of these tracks, I mean there's some much variety and emotion. Let me put it this way, for a guitar soundtrack it made of the techno and other synth soundtrack look like.. well nothing! If you enjoy retro rock and synth/rock music you will be in for a treat.
Final Fantasy Tactics - I am very surprised no one has mentioned this game's godly soundtrack ; _ ;. Haven't you guys ever played it? Anyway, along with its intriguing storyline the music, yes the music really set this game off. If you're a strategist like me, you'll find most of the game are in chess game-like battles, what fun! Plus with a huge variety in battle music, its like a dream come true, at least for me it does, lol.
