    have yuo realised that pikachu in some episodes acts like a guy and in others pikachu acts like a girl so is a guy, girl or doesnt pikachu have a gender what do yu think?
     
    Well, if pikachu is a girl, then Buneary must be... well, you know what I mean. I think it has to be a guy.
     
    mm i know to me it seems like pikachu changes genders becuae if you go watch that movie (forgot the name) when the pokemon go on holiday pikachu acts very much like a girl
     
    I think Pikachu is a boy. The tail, and the fact that Buneary has a crush on him. It's annoying how most pokemon are referred to as "it" or just by their name 24/7.
     
    It is male indeed, not only because of its tail, but also because Team Rocket's Meowth has referred to it as "he" a few times.
     
    male would seem more plausable. Since he seems like a little troublemaker

    But remember Pikachu's design is from Red/blue games. When they didnt even have a Gender. So there could be female pikachu's with that kind of tail. Plus Buneary could just be guessing his gender and thinking hes male. Plus what does Meowth know anyway?
     
    Meoth is a show member. If ANY cast on the show declares Pikachu a boy, its a boy. Even a lame background character.

    You are so right! It's so annoying. Even Ash "Let's all be best friends with pokemon" Ketchum calls his beloved pikachu an "it." Doesn't it get annoying.

    Pikachu is a boy, definitely a boy. Just look at the other people's posts for the reasons.
     
    Picachu seems like a guy to me. O_o
     
    I think some clues give it away such as:

    ~Meowth refers to Pikachu as he a couple of times
    ~Pikachu's tail is straight
    ~Beauneary likes Pikachu, It is so obvious Beaunary is Female

    so i think in conclusion Pikachu is Male :)

    good clues dude so yup HE is most likely a guy

    and that also comes to my conclusion that Pikachu is in fact a boy. I don't know why don't just say it for. I mean they announced that in a Johto episode of Pokemon there was a female Charizard named Charla or something like that
