I think some clues give it away such as:

~Meowth refers to Pikachu as he a couple of times
~Pikachu's tail is straight
~Beauneary likes Pikachu, It is so obvious Beaunary is Female

so i think in conclusion Pikachu is Male :)

Very well said. Going by that evidence, I couldn't possibly understand how Pikachu can be a girl.

Well, back in the day, none of the Pikachu shown in the anime or games really had a set gender.

However, its implied more than once that Ash's Pikachu is male.
& now that all Pokemon have gender seperation it's made even more clear.

Earlier proof that its male is because Ash has always called it 'buddy', which isn't
really a nickname you'd give to a friend who was female. ^^;

Well, everyone is saying it's tail, but they didn't decide that Pokemon looked different until... well, the 4th Generation. But usually if the main character is a male, then his best friend/partner would be a male too. It's hardly ever that his best friend is a female.
