What happened to ashes pokemon in ''Pokemon diamon and pearl battle dimension,, he only has pikachu where did go charizard, blastoise and that grass type one(i forgot hes name :( ) i hawn't been watching pokemon for really long :(
Ash has decided to leave all of his Pokemon, aside from Pikachu, with Professor Oak whenever he heads to a new area. He has done so when he left for both Hoenn and Sinnoh.

However, Charizard specifically was released during the Johto story, which was around six or seven years ago.

Each new region is catered to promote the Pokemon native to it. The other Pokemon from older seasons don't appear often for that reason. Sometimes they'll make a guest appearance if they can be tied into the plot (like when Ash's Bulbasaur met May's Bulbasaur) or appear in flashbacks (Butterfree/Caterpie has appeared twice in Sinnoh during flashbacks).
Hoenn had a "filler" season that took place in Kanto where a lot of older Pokemon made appearances during the Battle Fronteir battles. If a similar plot is done to bridge the gap between Sinnoh and 5th gen, then the older Pokes will likely be appearing then.

Ash's Butterfree returned?
BTW, He released Charizard, he never had a Blastoise, but his Squirtle went back to the Squirtle squad and Bulbasaur is with Professor Oak.

Everytime Ash has gone to a new region, he dropped all of his PKMN except Pikachu behind. xD

Well, for Diamond and Pearl, Aipom stowed away on the ship to Sinnoh. So Ash started with Aipom and Pikachu in Sinnoh. All of his old Pokemon were either released or given to Professor Oak.
