what have the pok?mon games taught you?

i've heard a lot of people learned a lot of english from the pok?mon games. some of them also had fairly obvious moral lessons and I'm curious if any of us picked up on those as a kid. what have the games taught you?

Pokemon taught me to be a smarter player when it comes to gaming. I often used to make cocky choices when I started playing Ruby but now I tend to make more smarter choices.

I also learned more about numbers thanks to the Pokemon stats, so there's also that.
