The reason the villainous King Bowser Koopa always keeps on kidnapping Mario's Princess Peach is so he can fall in love with her, and that poor Princess Peach is who Mario must rescue.

So, what if Mario's Princess Peach betrays Bowser so she is no longer in love with him, but only Mario?

Actually, Bowser kidnaps Peach because Bowser turned the people of Mushroom Kingdom into inanimate objects and Princess Peach is the only one who knows how to undo that magic :C

What LilJz1234 said. That's the logistical reason why Bowser kidnaps Peach routinely. Although, Bowser does also have the hots for her (that's how Nintendo phrased it XD).

While she does try to manipulate Bowser at times through some sweet-talking, she does not love Bowser and as such can not "betray" him.

But she's strictly Mario's gal. In a very Mickey Mouse / Minnie Mouse kinda way

I thought Pauline was Mario's gal?
Nope that would be Jump Man's. In all honesty though Pauline is a bit weird. You could think Jump Man and Pauline had a son and that ended being Mario (and then Luigi afterwards), or Mario moved to the Mushroom Kingdom and found a new love interest or whatever. I'd like to think Nintendo just wanted to ditch Pauline because she felt like a stereotype unless DK (Cranky Kong) was involved for historical reasons, personally.

peach would never fall in love with bowser. she doesn't even want to stay at bowser's castle! bowser kidnaps her and mario saves her, they kiss each other or something and bowser explose the end. but it's true that bowser has a crush on peach

Peach would never betray Bowser, because she never loved him in the first place.

I thought Pauline was Mario's gal?
Back in the original Donkey Kong game, yes. Then Peach came along and Nintendo essentially replaced her role. In the Mario VS DK games, they're just "friends" lol

It's not that Peach might betray Bowser that he kidnaps her, it's because he wants to take over the Mushroom Kingdom and put its citizens under his spells.
The only scenario of Peach going along with Bowser would be the fake "Robot Princess" that he created while the real Princess was on vacation in an episode of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. (Even at that, when the Princess came back, she defeated the Robot Princess.) Another such possibility would be her falling for Bowser's trap of handing over his castle to her in another episode of that same series.

If anything I think Bowser would get bored of kidnapping Peach.
