What if Sinnoh was in Gen. 3 and Hoenn was in Gen. 4?

Hey guys I just allways wondered this! Imagine if Sinnoh came first on the GBA insted of the DS and Hoenn was on the DS? I think it'd be pretty cool!

I actually allways thought that Sinnoh belonged more on the GBA and Vice-Versa

Well what I was saying was that I allways thought that Sinnoh would be pretty cool on the GBA. I actually do not know why I thought this I just allways did...

And really, would it not be awesome for Hoenn to be in Gen. 4?

If the 4th generation swapped places with the third it would probably receive less hate than it does now. One major complaint about Sinnoh is how boring it is compared to Hoenn. If Sinnoh came before Hoenn less people would be complaining about that.

Hoenn would just be even more amazing, and people would be speculating Sinnoh remakes.

Well then gen III would be the first in the DS gen and it'd be the "slow" game. So I think it would be the hated one, lol. Especially with all that Surfing...and that Surf speed.

Moving to PGC since this covers generations III and IV.

To me, if Sinnoh came first and then Hoenn, the evolved forms of old introduced in that time would experience drastic changes. For example Weavile would be unable to use its STABs like its pre-evolved form.

Nothing important in my opinion.
Sinnoh would be hated how Hoenn is now, Hoenn would be liked like Sinnoh.
Hikari would be first coordinator in anime and Haruka would be more in spotlight =)

I don't think anything much would be different, really. One thing that wouldn't make sense though, is that with each Generation they make the legendaries more badass - in Hoenn, they controlled land, sea and air, but then in Sinnoh they controlled time and space itself. If they were to be swapped, then it's kind of a downgrade when you get to Hoenn.

Since Hoenn is my least favorite region so far and wi-fi wasn't introduced until 4th gen, I probably wouldn't be using wi-fi as much. Otherwise I don't think much would be different.

Now, if FR/LG were released in 4th gen and got all the 4th gen upgrades, that would be boss.

This is not bad reasoning at all... in fact you are right.
In Sinnoh we have controllers of Time and Space and even the God of Pokemon.

Whichever were to come first, we'd be none the wiser and suppose the opposite to be interesting, so I can't say I find much merit in your question — voting 'just the same'.
