Serious What if...? - Your country was the opposite

TOPIC: The country you live in is the opposite of what it is now. So for example the USA is a first world country and now it's a third world country. How do you think people would react?

I live in Canada? Is there a way to make it more open?
Plus, there are members here who live in countries that are called third world. Maybe like what if your country was the other world? fff I can't explain it.

I guess I saw it as Everyone considered US to be the best country per say and everyone is always wanting to come here no matter how little money they had. But maybe I could fix it to make it more basic.

To stay on track:

1. Canada is considered first world. We don't have much military power but ignore that! lol
2. There's many "third world" countries that operate relatively similar though. Like public health care funded by the government. A country I immediately think of is Brazil (is Brazil 3rd world? I do not keep track) The hospitals and social services run pretty similar.
3. However, I can see social services decreasing, such as OAS or disability. There's a good amount of countries where the mentally ill have little help, too.

Basically, less money = less funding, I think.
