[Tool] What is the best trainer editor tool?

    I'm trying to figure out all of the tools that I need for my rom hack. Which of the many trainer editors out there would be best for a total beginner? What I'd like to do is look at the trainers on a route (ex. a Bug Catcher in Viridian Forest) and edit their party. Is there anything that is similar to that? Thanks in advance.
     
    I like HTE, only repoints when it needs to and allows editing for additional items, pokemon and moves.
