4th Gen what is the smiley face on summary and whats a pokerus? :K

i need to what is da smiley face in the summary and what does a pokerus do?

The pokerus is a virus that doubles the EVs a pokemon gets.

The smily face shows the pokemon has been cured of the pokerus.

to preserve the virus, spread it to some pokemon (like... 3 or more) you'll never use (but DO NOT realese them!) and put them in a box and DO NOT take them out unless you want to spread it

if they have the face, they cant get pokerus anymore too

the little face means it still has pokerus but just not the spreadable pokerus so it still has all the benefits from having pokerus but just not spreadable
