I am exactly 5/8 hispanic and3/8 caucasian
my ancestors on my mother's side can trace themselves back to King Someone of Spain. Like many noble Spanish at the time, one of the king's offspring became a governor of New Spain (now Mexico) Supposedly, his family ruled the area until they interbred with the Native Americans and Mexico became an independent country. I really don't know what branch of my mom's family this is, but I am sure that I can be traced back to the king of Spain. My maternal grandfather lived in Houston all his life and met my maternal grandmother (who lived in Mexico until she was 16 then moved to Houston to attend college) in college and married her, had 8 kids (including my mother) and about 19 grandchildren O.O
I don't really know much about my dad's family. The white half of my family happens to be a bunch of gold-digging aunts who are all in unstable marriages (heck, my dad is the only of his siblings to have never divorced). Because of these situations, my dad's geneology is hard to trace. I hear he does have family in Mexico though...
