ill probably use norton until the free subscription runs out. Then ill switch to Avast+windows firewall/Defender

Might as well use nothing rather than Window Defender. The XP/Vista firewall is only worth it if you don't have a router. And the AV, well...

I don't use virus protection, because I deleted it to use PC-Cillin, which doesn't work for Vista.
