Johto: Cyndaqui
Hoenn: Torchic.
Squirtle i like because he is a good water pokemon. Cyndaqui as he is a good starter. And torchic as he evolves into the migthy Blaziken. ^^ So im gonna vote for Torchic^^

I like charmander couse he evolves into a Charizard and totodile couse it's cute, always active and it was easier for me to beat my gold version.

my favourite is cyndaquil; but wouldn't eevee technically be a starter considering your rival starts out with it in yellow?

Mine is charmander but I also love cyndaquil ^^ torchics not to bad, I just love all the fire starters ^^ but I admit totodile is cute :-}

TOTODILE hands down! My favorite Pokemon is Feraligatr! Totodile is great!! :D
As for the others, I like ALL the Kanto starters a lot and for Hoenn, I love Mudkip.

My favorite would be Bulbasaur. He is my second favorite Pokemon overall after Mew ^^ I dunno, its just uuber cute and Ive liked it since wat back when xD Mew and Bulba fan since 4th grade (im in 10th now) <33333333

I've always like Bulbasaur. It was my first Pokemon back when I got Red version for the very first time, so I like Bulba the best. :P

Personally, I never use my starter. He is donated to the Safari Zone where someone will capture and actually take care of him.
