What is your 'main' Pokemon team?

Anyone who answers this question has lost the game.

Seriously, what kind of thoughts go through your head when someone asks you who you compete with... and you ANSWER?

Honchkrow, Froslass, Gliscor, Weavile, Skuntank, Dusknior.
Yup.

Im sure people are not posting there competetive teams with all the piplups and things mentioned. And even if, whos gonna go thread surfing while in battle?
 
It's not uncommon for someone to go searching for posts made by their opponent to learn anything they can before a tournament match.
 
Well, if you really don't want People to know your competitive battling team, my only advice is to not post. Or post one of your old teams :\

Charizard, Garydos, Scyther, Alakhazam, legendary(may vary), and Nidoking. That is my fire red team.
 
Seeing the way people misspell some words usually makes me wonder why they believe they're spelled that way. <.<;
 
The main three that are usually on my teams are Jolteon, Vaporeon and naturally, Glaceon. But not always together. I've somewhat been experimenting with my Eeveelutions, but found a fun little way of using a Vaporeon while browsing YouTube. Only problem is, it has a few weak points that people can exploit rather easily, but the person I saw using it made it work rather well, in most cases.

The rest are usually Pokemon that work well with the latter three.
 
I started a new file on Pokemon Diamond recently, so at the time of this posting I'm on Route 214 (right outside of Pastoria)
  • Prinplup, lvl 34
  • Staravia, lvl 30
  • Onix, lvl 23
  • Dustox, lvl 27
  • Budew, lvl 24
 
I don't really have a set team for any version, but the Pokémon that usually crop up in my teams time and time again are:

Sandslash (Just a personal preference)
Blastoise (Squirtle's my fave starter)
One of the Eevee evolutions (Normally Jolteon in the Colours, Espeon in the Metals)
A psychic/dark Pokémon (Alakazam, Mew or Houndoom)
Fearow (Same as Sandslash)

It's rare for me to have a team of 6, most of my current teams and the teams i've used in the past have only had 4 or 5 Pokémon in them. Still, they do their job.
 
Aww, I miss my lugia at pokemon gold. I always used my lovely lugia. I had a scyther too. :(
At pearl, I'm using my infernape, swellow and palkia. I think I have to create a team x)
 
My Team

Here is what I have for leaf green, as Pearl is... messed up, I used like, thirty cheats.

  • Sandslash (Tunnel)
  • Beedrill (Sting)
  • Charizard (Flash)
  • Victreebell (Root)
  • Vaporeon (Mist)
  • Nidoking (Spike)
 
Well, Gold and Silver... I didn't really have a main team. I just used whatever I decided to use. Same for Sapphire and Ruby. Though, in Gold and Silver... I ALWAYS had an Ampharos.

For the first generation... my team was USUALLY something like this:
~Raichu
~Charizard or Blastoise
~Arcanine
~Gyradose
~Alakazam
~Vileplume (sp??)

I haven't played the newest generation yet. So, naturally, I don't have a team there yet. xD
