This is a thread for Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal.

You might have gotten confused because of "RBY" being similar to "Ruby".

Typhlosion is ALWAYS in my squad for Crystal.

It never used to be, but since you could get Poliwag at the start of the game, I don't start with Totodile on Crystal.

I normally also get a Bellsprout, so that's my Fire Water Grass logic sorted.

I'd normally also pack a Gastly as well, as they are underrated in my opinion. It was awesome to see them available so early.

On Crystal you can't get Mareep! :( So I have to go without an Electric type literally until the Electrodes in the hideout. Tis annoying but always worth it.

That makes five...my sixth always varies to either a Pidgeot, or an Onix depending on my mood. If I choose Onix then I challenge myself never to use Fly.

-Flareon or Jolteon, it depends if I need a good special sweeper or a physical sweeper. You know in pokémon games, the sweepers rule :\
