    ...make for upcoming games? I would like to see a fire ant Pokemon, that can use fire type attacks. I think the Pokemon series could be more extensive with the Bug types.

    Who agrees? And what Bug type ideas do you have? :D

    a tick pokémon that knows leachlife
     
    A pill bug type Pokemon with of course Defense Curl and Rollout.


    And I know this isn't a bug really, but it could be bug type for lack of other type to give it: An oversized bacteriophage!


    I agree though, an ant type would be cool, and make it so males evolve into soldier ants with high attack and maybe speed, and females evolve into Queen ants with high defense and HP.........


    Maybe a flea Pokemon that knows Bounce and leech life....
     
    Bug pokemon can be nice for people who have a specific taste. But they are not very competitive in my opinion.

    No offence. Bug types like Scyther can be really cool.

    Umm.. So Scizor is no bug? And whatabout Forretress? Or Yanmega?



    Well, an Ant would be pretty cool, but maybe the Ant queen thing would be too similar to Vespiquen...

    I think we need just the classical beetle as a Pokemon (a non-flying one because bug/flying sucks as a type combination), with decent defenses because of its chitin exoskeleton. Even though pure bugs don't really make good tanks as well...
     
    First of all I'd like a Psychic-Bug because...well, because it'd be awesome! X3

    A friend of mine also came up with an interesting theory regarding this, and I just have to mention it here. He proposed that there should be some small Bug-Type(like a fungus, bacteria, or perhaps even a flea), that could not only be used in battle, but utilized just as a Hold Item would be. Leeching health, restoring health, fixing and/or causing other problems depending on the situation. I think that'd be cool. :D
     
    I'd create a combo of a flyin' fire-ant that knows fire blast and has a max HP for 600 if EV'd right :D
     
    mmm i´m not a big fan of Bug-type pokemon, my favorite types are Psychic and Fire, but i really really wanna see a arachnid pokemon, but not like the weird ariados or spinarak, something more scary, more powerful, maybe with dark moves and poison of course

    I, for one, would have a bug legendary pokemon, based off of the Egyptian's belief that a giant scarab rolled the sun across the sky o3o
    Much better bug/fire than a fire ant, I'd say xD
