I didn't see a thread about this so I thought I'd make one!

I have a Macbook Pro. I'm also running bootcamp, which lets me run windows as well for my games. I really love it!

    Anyone else?

I'm using a Compaq Desktop Computer. Its not the greatest, but I have to deal with it until I can afford a better one.

I have a Toshiba Satellite, but it's in the shop yet again. >>; Right now, I'm using my parents' Gateway.

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 Desktop. Well back in 2004...it was brand new. XD I recently put new RAM on it. It was 512MB, now it is 1.5GB.

I am thinking about getting a laptop. I want to get a Compaq. ^^

I built myself a custom rig, so I guess it's the txteclipse brand. Wolfdale 8400 Core2Duo, 4 gigs of ram, 500 gig RAID0 hard drive array, 8800GT video card, Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Fun times.

I'm getting a laptop soon, either a dell or an HP. which brand is the better brand? They both have Vista, and 4 GB memory (but alot more on the harddrive) and they cost about the same. So.. I'm unsure. But I'm probably going with the Dell.

My computer is an older laptop.

    HP
    OmniBook 6000
Windows XP (of some sort; bought from stepdad)
Wireless access through this external thing, cable connected.

You'll all probably jealous of me, but I bought an Acer Aspire 5920 two days ago:

wireless, surround sound, 2 gb ram, 160gb hdd, vista home premium, intel core 2 duo, 15.4" screen

I like it, price.. 899 with cashback, not too bad if i must say myself xD

I have a HP xw4600 workstation which has a Core 2 Duo 3ghz CPU, 4gb of RAM, and 2x500gb drives mirrored using raid (Running Ubuntu 8.04 64bit).

When away from my desk I use an Acer Aspire One which has a 1.6ghz Intel Atom CPU, 1.5gb of RAM and an 8gb solid state drive. It runs XP Pro because some software for my digital pen only runs on Windows, otherwise it too would be running Ubuntu! :(

Laptop. Dell Inspiron 6000, you can just look up the now obsolete specs if you care, but in case they vary, here's some:
    Processor: Intel Pentium M (2.13Ghz)
    Video: ATI X300
    Audio: Sigma-Tel C-Major

    My computer
Desktop. Originally a Fujitsu-Seimens office computer, unknown model. I've recently taken parts I wish to replace out and have found the CD drive to be dated July 2001 (and for some arbitrary reason it's been made to comply with Canadian electrical standards). It has a Dell monitor capable of a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 at 85Hz, obviously not the original one it shipped with.

HP Pavilion a1719n. It's about a year and a half old now?

Intel (Pentium 4?) processor, 3.0ghz, iirc
1GB RAM (hoping to up it to 2GB soon)
    250GB harddrive
    Intergrated graphics

    ...and Vista Home Premium. >:D

It actually runs really well for me, despite people screaming YOU NEED 2GB TO RUN VISTA OTHERWISE IT SUCKS. ._.; Not sure if it's because I don't game with this, or if the most intensive program I run is Photoshop 7, or if I'm just used to crappy computers...

    Spoiler:

    * There is more information about my Laptop because I'm not using my Mac right now
