What kind of nicknames do you use?

I nickname all of my Pokemon, even if its going to be placed in the PC box, never to see the light of day.
As a side note, I hate the 5-letter limit.

Some random picks:

Gengar = メタリカ/Metallica (I guess I was listening to their album while playing)
Finneon = ミニカイオ/Mini Kyo ("Mini-Kyogre" - it does look like one)
Bellossom = おとこだよ/Otokodayo (literary, "I'm a guy", since it's male)
Swinub = ウリバッハ/UriBach (I think I was listening to Bach)
Lileep = リリカル/Lyrical (I was watching Lyrical Nanoha, from what I recall)
Shieldon = おさら/Osara (literary, "plate")

I nickname my Pokemon if i can be bothered. I mainly onliy nickname the ones i am going to use. I will name them after an anime or manga charcter normally or sometimes just anything random that i can think of. I did have my whole team named after Linkin Park before but i restarted that game.
