What moves should/shouldn't be TMs/HMS?

yes with all in the topic exet the broken one I am all ready thinking of teams
 
Baton Pass please. It would be incredibly helpful in all areas of the game.

Oh, and Flash needs to be taken out of the game. It is too horrible to be considered a move anyway.
 
Aerial Ace needs to go IMHO along with Flash, Recycle, Fling, and Snatch.

HMs, Defog is utterly useless. I want Dive back >.<

Theif is great for nabbing items off wild Pokémon. It should stay.

Metronome would be a welcome return, too. I'd totally make a team around it. Hehehe.

Along with Defog and Sweet Scent.

I think that Defog was honestly the most pointless HM ever made. It's like Flash... but even MORE useless in battle...
 
there are a few for each really that I always wait game by game for tms to come out for...

to be tms:
*nightmare. come on, it was a tm on g/s/c and now only 4 pokemon learn it!
*spite. just think it should be one.
*perish song. it's pretty cool and if more pokemon had the ability to learn it then it would actually be a good battle strategy.
*bide. it was a tm in r/b/y and it is quite a good move imo.
*ingrain. a cool healing move that I would appreciate if more pokemon got to learn it.

and not to be tms:
*steel wing. just another one of those moves really.
*bullet seed. there are so many more better grass moves out there.
*explosion. it's too good and powerful to be a tm.
*payback. it's just so many pokemon learn it and to make a tm of it is quite a waste.
*flash. just bad totally.​
 
I think Nasty Plot would be a cool TM. They have Swords Dance, so why not Nasty Plot?
There are a few other moves that I can't think of right now that would work as TMs.​

I agree, I would use Nasty Plot on a Pokemon with good use, like Sceptile.
 
Everything HM that has a counterpart HM. Eg. Rock Climb with Strength, Waterfall with Surf, Flash with... well, no one likes Flash anyways.
