What operating systems you use on your computers.

I use Windows XP and Mac OS 8.1. on my computers

supposedly when i get my "new" computer i'll get Windows XP... but my dad is looking at 3 years later for my "new" computer x_x (which is a very long time...) By that time Windows XP is going to be prehistoric and ancient...

Longhorn will be out, but XP is still a solid platform. Oh, and hey, my friend's has Windows 95. Don't feel too bad. ^_^;

Well, I want to have atleast Mac. OS 8.5, but I don't have the right amount of memory and I don't even own a 8.5 CD. :(..

Well, I need to buy a New iMac or something.

I have six comp. in my house...

three (my brother's, my parents', and a downstairs laptop...) run XP

two (mine and one in our study) run ME

the last one, I don't know what it runs...

This computer, the "good" one as my family calls it, runs Windows ME. The other computer runs Windows 98. @_@;; I asked my dad to look into buying Windows XP, but he said no because it's so expensive. He won't even buy Microsoft Office though, so I guess asking for XP was a little far off. ^_^;;

But doesn't Windows 98 uses unstable techology. I heard Windows 2000 and XP is more stable than Windows 98 with my experience with computers. I used to have 98 and it crashes alot, screws up my internet explorer, and freezes on me. Upgrading to Windows Me made the problem even worse. Programs started to crash, the blue screens kept poping up. Never use Windows 9x!

I have Windows 98SE, its really all I need, its basically the same as 98, well... alot like the exact same thing.

And I also have Windows ME on my other computer, I couldn't find any serious buggs on it and its stable.

I'd hope that higher versions of Windows would be more stable that the older ones. It's logic. o_O; But... meh. It works okay for us, so my dad is opposed to spending so much money to get a new one. *sighs* Maybe with the next computer...

My OS? Windows XP. >.>;

Anyways, XP and 2000 are really stable, the others lack in that area. Never, ever use ME if you have a choice. It makes me cry. ;_;

Don't use IE!!! It's EVIL!!! Use Mozilla Firebird instead.
