7th Gen What Pokemon did you use against Rainbow Rocket?

    What Pokemon did you use against Rainbow Rocket, and how did each Pokemon do in each battle?
    Ultra Sun: I used the following Pokemon holding their respective Mega Stones, and only brought 5 per rotation.
    Lucario, Garchomp, Metagross, Salamence, Tyranitar, Scizor, Gengar and Gyarados
    The 6th slot was instead used for the Legendary used against each RR Boss:
    I used the following legendaries against the RR Bosses
    Primal Groudon (Maxie), Primal Kyogre (Archie), Yveltal (Lysandre), Palkia (Cyrus), Reshiram (Ghetsis) and Mega Mewtwo Y (Giovanni).
    In Ultra Moon: I used a fixed party of Dawn Wings/Ultra Necrozma, Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Kyogre, Dialga, Zekrom and Xerneas.
    In both versions, Giovanni's Mega Mewtwo was KOed in only one hit from my Mega Mewtwo's Shadow Ball.
     
    My team pretty much remained the entire same for the whole game, until everything was done. It was as follows:

    - Primarina
    - Magnezone
    - Mudsdale
    - Salazzle
    - Zoroark
    - Lunala

    Not surprisingly, I struggled with Lysandre.
     
    I never ever change my in-game team throughout the whole storyline so:

    Primarina, Noivern, Lycanroc (Dusk), Lurantis, Alolan Marowak and Alolan Sandslash.

    No struggles for me. Not a fan of using legendary personally neither. I loved myself the challenge.
     
    This was my team up until Giovanni:

    -Incineroar
    -Alolan Sandslash
    -Alolan Raichu
    -Palossand
    -Golisopod
    -Lycanroc

    When I got to Giovanni, his Mewtwo kept either completely ROFLstomping my team or they would all faint before he sent him out. Eventually, I just put in Ultra Necrozma instead. He got all but two--my Raichu took down Rhyperior with a Grass Knot and Mewtwo was First Impression'd.
     
    One of the first things I did when I got to the USUM post-game was transfer up some stuff from previous games. I figured I'd just have fun with the Rainbow Rocket episode and so I went and cleared it with a party of 3, which was Zekrom, Lunala, and Volcarona.

    I didn't have any trouble, but I still enjoyed the post game a ton.
     
    In how i battled Episode RR Bosses, in Ghetsis and Lysandre, i always started the battle by putting the Unova/Kalos Legend as my lead, just like the original games, when i fought Ghetsis, i began by putting Reshiram (Ultra Sun)/Zekrom (Ultra Moon), then switched out, before switching back to the Legendary i started with. In Lysandre's fight, i sent out Yveltal (Ultra Sun)/Xerneas (Ultra Moon) first before changing out.
     
    Even though I've shared this team a million times already, I'm gonna do it again because I love sharing.

    Big Whoopsie the Silvally
     
    When i fought Lysandre, i used Mega Evolution against his Mega Gyarados, after his Mega Gyarados fainted, i would sent out the opposite Kalos Legend against his Kalos Legendary, then one-shot his Xerneas/Yveltal using Yveltal/Xerneas with Z-Move.
