    I am curious into what type of forum software this place uses, this really doesn't look like an SMF or phpBB forum.(No offense!) But I really like the design of this board so I am pretty curious.

    Vbulletin vb3 is what this forum uses, with custom code, I believe. Believe it or not, this is really old software, but the developers would know more than I would.
     
    Heavily modified version of vBulletin 3.8 (with a completely customized user interface, I should add) though we're in the process of tearing out big chunks of vB code and rewriting them wholesale
