Between a cloned mew and a legit one? oO I'm just confused.
There's no difference in a cloned mew and a legit mew,if the mew cloned is legit, the clone is legit as well...lol...
The difference between legit and non-legit is what wakachamo said....
You have no reason to worry, except that the forum doen't like illegit pokemon!!
So if someone tells me they'll trade a illigit mew for something, I have no reason to worry?
• Mew cannot, as of the Advance Generation, be caught below Level 30. Any Mew with a physical level below that is not legitimate.
• Mew MUST have been migrated "from Hoenn" in the Trainer Memo. (In the case of Emerald players, it must be caught at Level 30 be and from Faraway Island. It must also be obedient, in that it cannot disobey you while you have a sufficient amount of badges.
This does allow a hacker to identify what they need to modify to make a Mew seem legitimate, but I can't do anything about that. Having the information is essential to those who care regardless. These conditions may be invalid if Nintendo offers Mew in a Nintendo event.
Additionally, the obedience flag does not appear to apply in Diamond and Pearl, so the Mew will obey.
The only real benefit of owning a legitimate Mew is that it can battle and be entered in tournaments that check for illegitimate Pokémon.
Oh so it isn't still around? Okay, thanks for that...but weren't the Toys-R-Us Mews a low level, like 10 or something (I have no idea, since I didn't get one)?
There were two Mews offered at Lvl 10. One was an US event, and the other the Japanese Movie event.
Yeah, I thought so. So it's possible to have a legitimate level 26 Mew
this is the weirdest thing I heard today, I've always though Mew was at lv. 30
