    Okay, as we all know, the specials are being dubbed into English (FINALLY), and into crappy dubs. Marillmonster2000 has just told me about the Raikou Special dub (split into 3 parts), and they call Kenta "Jimmy", and Marina "Marina"! But... Jackson clearly said in the Silver Conference; "Hey, Dani! (AKA: Marina) Hey, Yoshi! (AKA: Kenta) I'm on TV!". Why the hell have they changed their minds? Are Yoshi and Dani just random now, too? I don't think Jackson meant someone else, I just think that 4-Kids are going senile!

    And don't get me started on the Eugene thing. Just....gah.

    It's like they gagged and raped my poor Eusine D: AND THEN THEY GAVE HIM THE MOST TERRIBLE VOICE EVER. Ohmygod it makes my head hurt. X____x

    ^ There are a lot of people who are on love with an anime character. (Like me! XD)
    We should expect something like this from dubbers who made Bashou a woman. XD
     
    ALOT of Chronicles "episodes" are badly done. Raikou especially. Kenta, Marina and Jun'ichi are now Jimmy, Marina and Vincent. Bashou and Buson are now Hun and Atilla. Speaking of Bashou, he's been made into a female. Minaki, who was officially named Eusine by NoA, is now called Eugene. Raikou's name is STILL mispronounced (it's Rai-koh, demmit, not Rai-kuu). Sawamura's dub voice uses Hitmontop's voice. x_X; All of the music from the original = Gone. The ending is also shortened. We don't see the kids split off in different directions.

    Then there's the Takeshi specials. They renamed Mizuho as Lola, they forgot that they said she was dead, they made Takeshi's little brother (Jiroo, who's been renamed as Forest) like girls like his oldest brother even though he was talking about Pok?mon training and such, they cut out the scene involving Takeshi giving Jiroo Iwaaku, I****subute, and Crobat.

    It's pretty bad.
     
    I'd be tempted to say it's as bad as One Piece, but it's not that bad.

    Twas probably done by the same team though :P
     
    Well, "Chronicles" is being done by a different group within 4Kids than the regular series, which probably explains why it seems like they have no clue what they're doing - they probably don't.

    BTW, Goken, I advise you not to tease Phantom_Bugsy - I've seen what she can do to those that upset her.

    What? Are you serous? They renamed Jun'ichi and Minaki, too? Even after the episodes they appeared in? If I'd known that, I would have mentioned that, too. 4-Kids are complete idiots. And they made Bashou a girl, too, eh? I'm not the first person to think Bashou was a girl, but I long-since learned that he was a guy. And now he's a girl again? Oh, sorry, she's.

    4-Kids need very special help, and they need it now!

    And, yes, One Piece was the one of the worsted dubs ever! To be almost (I think worse) than that. That is bad. And Marill told me that Marina/Dani/Marina, err... Is a complete valley girl now. And that she says stuff like; "G-T-G, sweetie-pie!". And, also, her Muuma, Muu-chan was nicknamed Little Mis. Although it sounds stupid, they couldn't have got it more accurate, unless they'd called it "Miss-Mis", or "Mini-mis". They called her Purin (Pink-chan) "Pink". ... Okay... At least take the time to call it "Pinky", or "Rose", or something. And... Her Alligates (Waniwani (from Waninoko)), is UNCHANGED! What the hell is Waniwani symbolizing now? "Totototo", "Mini-dile"? Eh? God...
     
    Pretty much that. There is NO WAY I will watch the dub of that due to soooo many errors. And they did the worst ever, trashing the cast... Kenta, Marina, Juni'chi, Bashou, Buson, Eusine, and more...
    That's one of the main reasons I don't watch the dubs anymore.

    I was thinking of fandubbing it myself. XD And totally making it worse than 4Kids did as a parody. Doing all the voices, all the sound effects by voice, the music is me humming....XD It's cause I have too much free time and dammit I should. XD

    If you actually got it aired on TV or available to see, I would rather watch the dubs lol.

    Btw- It just seems a little odd to be in love with..something drawn thats not real lol.

    LOL! Lots of people do here. ^_^ Anime and Manga people are quite cute. ^_^

    Phantom_Bugsy: That would be funny! And try to miss their mouth movements! XD So it looks like that "Reptar movie" in rugrats. XD Me and my friend, Alisa made a short dub of Card Captor Sakura. It was from the "Sakura's Rival" episode. And it was very funny!

    I have the feeling we'd do a better job than 4-Kids would. Err... I told all my friends at school who have even the slightest interist in Pokemon. I told them that Jackson meant the hero and heroine from GS and Crystal (Dani and Yoshi). Now I'm going to look like an idiot.

    And that is why I've officially given up on the Anime. >_>

    You mean an UNTRAINED gorilla can do better than 4Kids.
     
    Now now, not all dubs are bad. However, it seems anything 4Kids touches turns into pure crap. Marina became a WHINEY, obsessive girl that wants to be a music star and DOESN'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT. They completely ruined her character. :\

    But then again, it could be worse. It could be One Piece, or Cardcaptors, or Dragon Ball Z's first dub.
     
    I Know! I HATE Dub Marina! Come On, In The Original She Wants To Be An Idol Trainer. in The Dub-SHE WANTS TO BE A GODAM POP MUSICIAN! come on! *stabs 4kids for ruining his 2 favorite shows*
