What to do with wrapped up cards?

    Hi,
The reason I originally created an account on this website was to ask this particular question:
What should I do with wrapped Pokémon cards? I've been collecting these Anniversary cards from Toys R Us (see the pic), and they're all still in their packaging, but I don't know what to do. On one hand, I want to open them and put them all in my binder; but on the other, wrapped up is the way I got them, and they're probably worth more that way. What should I do? D: I've searched around, but I just can't find my answer!

Please give me your suggestions. Thanks.

Go out and get a pack of top loaders for them (the hard plastic cases that cards often come in when you buy singles from local card shops), and then get a long box or tin of some kind to store those in. Leave the cards in the wrap.

BAM! Problem solved while retaining value!

Thank you for your reply. And I love your suggestion! I'll definitely be considering it! Thanks so much! :D

Hey, just a couple of questions, if you don't mind. If for any reason I were to decide not to use this method, and just stack them on top of each other in a box, would the cards be in danger of getting bent or anything?

Also, is there a way to have the wrapped up cards in top loaders, and still be able to flip through them in a sort of binder? Or is there something else for that?

    Thanks.

To answer the first question, not really. They're in less danger than they would be in a binder without a toploader. The hard toploaders exist for the purpose of protecting the cards, and they do it better than binders do.

That said, there are ways to store them in binders, but you need to go out and seek out 3-ring binder pages for things like couponing and the like rather than the standard 9-slot card pages. I'll post a link for a set of these I found in the other thread you made specifically for this second question, though.
