4th Gen What will be your Team in Platinum??

My goal, in Platinum, is to make a team that consists of:

• Infernape
• Torterra
• Dialga
• Palkia
• Giratina
• Arceus

Yes, I like having lots of legendaries on my team. But, if I happen to catch a Pichu/Pikachu/Raichu (I never even saw one in Diamond or Pearl), I might just replace it with Palkia. :cer_tongue:

I am trying not to use Ubers I just collect em so I can say I have them.

For platinum i will have Empoleon and Lucario - haven't decided what else I want yeT;P

I've only decided on part of my in-game team.

Froslass

and probably a water type but I don't know which one.
as for the sixth one, I'll probably leave open for something random.

I just pick the basic types since I like good coverage in in-game. So...

^Yep. =3 A lot of them can be caught at the beginning or early in the game which is great (definitely not Electibuzz). Now that I can get Gible early is a plus also. I don't bother with IVs, EVs, Nature, Item, or even moveset. I don't have any HM Slaves, I just distribute the HM moves among my Pokemon. I will have some helpers like these or just random Pokes:
Starly (Fly and De Fog)
Kricketune (False Swipe + Sing = ftw!)
Abra (Synchronize Nature Passer (legends))

Well for diamond i made a huge mastake choosing piplup because rapidash is the only wild fire pokemon, but now theres more so i have an idea...

I'll probably use: Infernape, Garchomp (Horray for Unoriginality!), Luxray, Staraptor, Undetermined Water Type (Floatzel or Vappy perhaps), and some other random Poke like Lickilicky or Mamoswine just for kicks.

I don't use any items during battles, or outside other than TM/HM's. I managed to get Infernape undefeated throughout the game of all Pokes, until he was knocked out by a crit in the elite 4 :(

I'll probably just trade over some Pokémon Eggs from Pokémon Pearl at the beginning of the game and then use the Pokémon that I'll hatch. I'm still not so sure what'll I take, I just know that I'll definately have Skitty and Sneasel on my team. Or maybe I'll take a Scramble Challenge. Meh, I've got time to decide what I'll do till the European release of Pokémon Platinum anyway. =P

and my frontier team would be:

but the thing with eevee is i might just use him for contests because i dont plan on evolving him because of the fact that he has so many different choices of pokemon to evolve into

Of course, once I beat the E4, all of these guys will be canned and I'll start using my competitive Pokemon traded in from Diamond, along with some new ones I'll train in Platinum.

I Don't have DS but maybe it's coming this summer!

I think my team will be :-

- Infernape :- Because I'm choosing Chimchar as a starter.

- Staraptor :- I like Staraptor's attacks especially Aerial Ace/ Take Down.

- Glaceon :- No reason but I want it a female , It's kinda SmExI

- Ambipom :- No comment

- Mamoswine :- Nothing, but I think an ICE & GROUND type Pokemon would be useful

I want to make my story team composed entirely of 4th generation Pokémon as a show of respect to the region. Team will probably be:

Tangrowth
Magnezone
Togekiss
Garchomp
Bibarel (HM Slave)

I've also never used any of these guys before, another reason to try them out and have some fun.
