The Sugimori art of the water monkey's basic form captured my heart too much. <3
Therefore, keeping Hiyappu as well as Tsutaaja unevolved on my team.

I'm still not sure which starter I will choose.

My 3 locks: Wargle, Electric Tarantula, Dark/Dragon Hydra.
If I choose water: Harpoon thing, Ghost/Fire candelabra, Grass monkey (will probably go with this. Might try to get a Treecko at the beginning instead of the grass monkey)
If I choose grass: Grass Snake, Fire Anteater, Ghost/Water Jellyfish.
If I choose fire: Pokabu (won't evolve it), Grass monkey, Ghost/Water Jellyfish.

Rankurusu, as it is boss. Do I really need more of a team? Give it a life orb (no recoil damage due to Magic Guard), send it out with a sandstorm (again, Magic Guard), Trick Room (I can't imagine him being unable to learn it), and sweep. All while being Bada$$ Adorable.

For backup, I suppose Warubiaru, Zeburaika, Daikenki/Enbuoo, Shanderaa, and perhaps Buffaron.

@Kizerzin: Almost solidly design and strategy. I'm one of those nutty guys who opts for foreign tactics and personal taste when selecting team members, rather than raw stats. I typically pick weaker and less popular Pokemon that require a fairly out-of-the-box strategy (judging by Rankurusu's fame, he may prove to be an exception on my team.)
