    what do you think would be the running gag Dent will do? Brock has that Falling in love then Getting hurt With someone pinching his ear or his Crogunk Poison Jabbing him, and Tracey Sketches almost every new pokemon he sees so what would Dent do
     
    I was sort of expecting Dent to actually be the one getting chased by girls but then his Monccoli comes and scares them away. It looks too late for that, but that's what I sorta anticipated judging by his first impression.
     
    He overestimates Ash/Satoshi, that's what he does.
     
    Both Iris and Dento will keep lecturing Ash about type advantages throughout BW. >_>

    I think he will be doing nothing other than cooking.

    Other than that I guess he just might be "Normal" xD

    I agree with this. I think his optimism in Ash will contrast with Iris's pessimism. That and be used to keep discussing the 'compatibility' between Ash and Iris. For the shippers, of course :P

    I'm just hoping they get him more involved in the storylines than Brock ever was. We don't need another third wheel.
     
    Since Dent seems to know a lot about Pokemon, like Brock does, my guess would be that he'd just show off his Pokemon knowledge rather than put it to good use. Iris would be the one who'd keep him in line.
     
    I was wondering that my self i assume Iris will be with traveling with ash as a journey of self development for her self growing as a person and a pokemon trainer. Ending with her battling ash for the eight badge or her possibly battling Shaga who in the anime could possibly be an elder who took the gym of Iris due to her lack of experience and sent her on a journey in hopes of making her a better gym leader. (Thats just what i think)

    But Im stuck on Dent he seems like a bit of a dry character right now but i can see some room for development in what i have read so far. But right now i have no idea what he can do other than what has already stated above he is there new COOK
