    Some move animations in Pokemon are extremely ambiguous, and some of them used to be ambigous but got changed to be clearer in later generations or the anime. This thread is for describing how you imagine it looking.

    SACRED FIRE:
    Ho-oh begins to glow brightly, and starts shedding down while flying at the opponent. As the feathers touch the ground the ignite into a short-lived golden firestorm. When the firestorm makes contact with the opponent it will rush at it all at once before extuinguishing.

    NIGHT SHADE
    :
    The attacker emits a mysterious fog which surrounds the opponent and causes harmful sensory hallucinations. Think The Matrix, if the mind says so, then the body will react accordingly.

    I imagine Sheer Cold being an amorphus frost that slowly builds in intensity and slowly solidifies the whole scene (sorta like those freezing storms in day after tomorrow:D).

    Also I imagine Calm Mind as the pokemon slowly closing it's eyes, and adopting a sorta meditative trance. I picture an aura of psi energy building around them.

    Leech Seed strikes me as seeds with vine like attachments that absorb the hp back to the other pokemon.

    Scratch:
    The Attacking Pokemon reveals its claws hidden under its fur and readies a jumping position. Then leaping in the air extending the claws and scratching the Foe's Critical points. Dealing damage based on the size of the claw and where it hit.

    Bite/Crunch
    2 variants, one where giant jaws are formed out of dark energy, and bite the foe before disappearing, and one where the user's teeth are infused with the same energy, and the attack continues from there. Crunch would of course use more or stronger powers than Bite.

    Roar of Time: Dialga roaring (duh) and the background and opponent going grey, the opponent slowing down to a stop and Dialga then fires a large Blue beam
    ....can't think of anything else at the mo

    Hyper Beam

    The Pokemon's mouth begins glowing, and a beam amde up of red, orange and yellow fires at the foe, knocking it to the ground.

    Sacred Fire
    Ho-Oh begins to glow a bright, white color, starting from the middle and working its way out toward the tips of its wings. It opens its mouth and forms a violet fire ball. The lavender ball shoots out, followed by three others, and demolishes the opponent.

    Luster Purge
    Latios's body glows brighter than the Sun. The light spreads all around Latios and quickly thrusts itself in all directions, slamming down unto the opponent.

    Sucker Punch
    {Biped; Raticate}
    Spoiler:

    {Quadruped; Mightyena}
    Spoiler:

    {Avian; Murkrow}
    Spoiler:

    {No appendages; Gastly}
    Spoiler:

    Gastro Acid
    {Arbok}
    Arbok glares at the opponent and hacks up stomach acid. The acid covers the opponent's body, canceling out any in-battle abilities it may use.

    Avalanche
    {Delibird}

    Delibird flies above the opponent and opens its tail-bag. The bag glows white and a gust of wind barrels out. The wind turns to snow and envelops the opponent.

    Tailwind
    {Xatu}
    Xatu spreads its wings and slams them down to its sides. This causes a gust of wind, increasing the speed of it and every single one of its teammates.

    {Quadruped; Suicune}
    Using the power of the North Wind, Suicune summons a large whirlwind, which increases the speed of itself and its teammates.

    Mind Reader
    {Articuno}
    Articuno swiftly opens its eyes wider. The opponent can feel a presence inside of them, as if something was looking into its soul. The opponent is dazed for a moment and then attacked with Articuno's next move.

    Superpower
    {Totodile}
    Totodile's muscle expand and then quickly contract. Its body turns red and it rushes at the opponent, slamming its whole self against them. The opponent is knocked for a loop. Totodile is slightly disoriented; some of its strength was lost.

    God u put a lot of work in that it was so good lol i got tired just reading it props to you

    Well... I always thought that Blastoise should get down on all fours before letting off a hydro pump/cannon. Also, saw shadow sneak much more the pokémon using it appearing in the other pokés shaddow to attack from behind. Or something neat like that.

    Does anybody else picture something morbid and gruesome when using Self Destruct?

    Self Destruct

    The user glows a white and then stores all their energy into their core, and in a breif moment, release it all out at once, causing a mass of energy, and an explostion. This also destroys them from the inside.

    Thunder: The user summons thunder from the sky and it hits the foe.

    Tackle. They ram into the foe. Pretty generic, I'd say. Now, something more complex...Judgement. A big black hole appears and candy the element of the Plate pops out and murders everything. Lame, I know.

    Flamethrower;

    The Pokemon concentrate it's hidden power into a certain point of it's body and fire a beam of fire at the opponent.

    I imagined that Petal Dance was an attack that would cause the user to spin uncontrollably, with fluttering petals, and slam into the foe and get confused afterwards, not revolving petals hitting the foe.

    I imagined Magical Leaf as transparent, rainbow colored leaves with a wierd aura around them, and hitting the foe as if it were a heat-seeking missile.

    I imagined that Weather Ball is a great ball of mist that is hurled into the sky, and it falls down as either a ball of fire, a great chunk of ice, a great big blob of water(or an oversized water drop), or a giant sedimantary rock that is composed of sand and then wehn it hits the target, it dissolves back into what it was.

    I imagined that Curse was an out-of-control pokemon constantly yelling.

    I imagined Outrage was a pokemon bashing into the other pokemon with great force because it was angry.

    Double-Edge.

    User will use all it's energy and weight to ram the foe, mainly using it's shoulder and back to hit. Like a wrestling match takedown. Imagine Snorlax do that lolz

    Ice Beam

    Fires an intensely cold beam to the foe. Sorta like Dr. Freeze's power in the old Batman movie. Only it's look liquidy.

    Earthquake

    Obvious, duh. The pokemon will jump and use it's fists/feet to hit the ground will all energy.

    Leech Seed/Worry Seed

    User will pepper the face of the opponent with lots and lots of seed, and it'll take root there, doing it's job. Epic
