2nd Gen What'd you name your rival?

    I named Silver in GSC "Susan". :laugh:
    I didn't do this like 8 years when I was a kid either, I did it when I restarted Crystal a month or so ago.
     
    He told me his name was "???", so I gave that name to the fuzz.

    I really didn't know you could make it be anything you want.
     
    I think I named him Mike. I have no idea why. I think a kid I hated in elementary school went by that name so I took my aggression out on him via a video game? O_O *schedules psychiatric appointment*
     
    Sometimes I reverse the name I gave to the player, and name him like that. Other times, I name him "Idiot", or other names like that one. XD
     
    In G/S/C, I called him "Peliroj", a shortened form of "Red-haired" in Spanish XD
    In R/B/Y, I called him "Idiot" too.
     
    in GSC, i called Silver "Dumbo". not after the elephant.
    in RBY, i just went simple and called him "John".
    i didn't learn his name was Gary until i watched the first episode of Pokémon.

    I did this intentionally the last time I restarted Silver, just because I wanted to be a smart alec. XD

    Otherwise, I just go with Silver (which is what he's named in Crystal currently, if I recall correctly).
     
    I named him Gary. Because Gary was a rival on the pokemon show. Now I'm going to use Paul because he is the current Rival.

    I used to think that too.

    Nowadays, I call him Douche, because of the Super Effective comic strips (Number 2)

    In Gold and Crystal, I named him '???' because I thought that was his real name... Heh.
     
    I always named my rival after my archnemesis in real life, so I could beat the crap out of him everytime I met him.
     
    I usually name my rivals after my brother, being either "JAO" or "Jordan". I just love destroying my rival in battles, because it reminds me of how much I defeat my brother! Hahaha!
     
    In G/S/C I always named him Jack as that's the name of the only other person in my class who likes Pokemon.
    In R/S/E I named your rival Brendan if I was playing as May, or May if I was playing as Brendan.
    In Fr/Lg I named him Gary for obvious reasons
    And finally in D/P I named him Paul, again for obvious reasons.
     
    markus in D/p game for a reason I don't know
     
    I always call them Dumbo or ???, or on one occasion on Diamond, Probopass.
     
    In G/S/C, I named him ???. I was one of those people who thought that was his real name.
