Yeah sure, we've all heard of how badass Charizard is or how face-meltingly cool Rayquaza is - now let's talk about some of the forgotten members of our beloved animated super-monster series. Yeah, that means you, Ledian. Torkoal and Mothim, it's your turn to shine!

There are so many Pokemon that are shuned, forgotten or simply hated altogether and most of them are great Pokemon.
In fact, Torkoal is one of my favourite Pokemon, because I think it's the best looking Fire-type Pokemon.
Also, it's the only non-Legendary Fire-type that doesn't belong to an evolution line.

I think the one that is most obscure would be Shuckle. Because I seriously once thought "Wait, who's that Pokemon!? Is it new?" And I remembered it was from the second generation...

Well, actually, the ones from the Second Generation are the ones I forget about the most! XD

Shucke doesn't do a lot of damage, but it's defense is super high. I used it in my team once and it did very well. Only drawback is that it takes a long time to knock out another pokemon. I taught him a skill set that was more about giving my pokemon an advantage in battle rather than pure damage. It was a big help the first time I beat the elite four.

As for me, I normally forget things about Gen 4 Pokemon. Once I spent nearly a half an hour in the car trying to think of what Heatran evolved from, before remembering it was a legendary. As for Pokemon I forget about completely... uhh...

- the Regis (I think I block them out because they're so hideous.)
- Wormadam
- Lileep/Cradilly
- Relicanth
- Rotom
- Phione
- Snorunt
- Bagon

Mainly because I never played the 3rd gen much, and haven't paid much attention to the 4th either.

Ah, I remember when I saw Slugma and Magcargo. It was in the Hoenn League when I saw Slugma (I can't remember when I saw Magcargo) and I was like "WTF? Is this a new Pokémon?" XD And then I found out it was from Johto. And I always though Skarmory was from Hoenn, too, until I saw the episode where Ash was training Cyndaquil (I like to backtrack). Other than that, I pretty much know when a Pokémon appears and I don't really ever forget any of them. . =/

lol, it is Qwilfish. I've seen so many people spell it with a 'u' xD.

I have to agree with Surskit and Masquerain. Venonat and Venomoth, too.

I never forgot a pokemon. Never! Ok maybe that one time i battled a dunspsarce and went wtf is that?!
Oh how i love me some mothim. Its not that forgotten i mean i find it pretty well known and all. I find it one of the better(no way better) sinnoh pokemon up there with giratina and probopass. Yes i find mr potato head a good pokemon and if you dont well fine.
