What's a good moveset for Gyarados?

    I thinking something like this.

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Hidden Power [Flying]
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Taunt

    I'm clueless about the EVs. :\
     
    You can try Secret Power on Gyarados and Water Gun is good too.

    Um, the edit button it right there.

    Dragon Rage does 40 damage. In OU most Pokemon have 300+ HP.

    It's called the EDIT BUTTON. Use it to EDIT your posts so that you won't have too double post, because that's not allowed.

    Also, Dragon Rage sucks big time. It only use 40 HP of damage. At level 100, even weak Pokemon have at least 200 HP, which means you'll have to use this attack at least 5 times in order to kill them. What a waste.

    Interesting how Dawson was banned and now Dragonair is suddenly here.

    I will humor the post by saying that Dragon Rage should only be used in NLE/Pika Cup, since, as Flame Demon said, 40 damage on a 400 HP Poke is laughable. Gyarados has a crappy base SAtk, so only physical moves should be used. Please don't offer suggestions unless you know more about movesets, attacks, stats, and the metagame.
     
    well my dragonair had dragon rage it worked well but i didnt know it was that bad o.O i got rid of that attack when it evolved into my new dragonite thats has wing attack (now any better but) oh and sorry for suggesting such a weak move *blushes*
