What's The Worst Injury You Have Had?

    Share your worst physical injury, how it happened and how long it lasted.
     
    I once choked on a pen top (how lame ¬_¬) and it cut a small hole in my throat, which meant whenever I inhaled small bubbles of air would gather under the skin in my neck. You could actually feel it, was kinda freaky, plus I had to be fed through a tube (I was in hospital of course). It healed in a few days. That's the worst injury I have had, not much is it? especially considering that I'm a skateboarder (in summer anyway).
     
    Um, I don't really think I can remember how long it lasted by I was returning a bottle of Coke to a slaesgirl when I dropped it and has a minor cut in my leg. The Doctor has to stitch it, but I dunno how I felt when they did that. I was only 4 back then.
     
    Oh...yep I cut my little finger by a piece of glass, and it was like blood everywhere, but its attatched again XD It was a long time ago.

    I fractured my big toe on my right foot wrestling with my cousin and my best friend. I slipped on a pillow and jammed my toe in a folding chair. It's lame, I know. Who slips on a pillow? Anyway, I don't remember how long I had it, but I have to wear a corrective brace on my toe and foot for a few weeks.
     
    Stepping on one of those old spiral hobs you get on assumably cheap cookers, lol.
    I was two at the time and don't remember it, but the three (now very subtle) scar lines across the sole of my left foot show that it did happen.

    How I stepped on it? Well, I was two years old like I said, so I'd be climbing up things; just so happened the hob was hot/on and I climbed onto the kitchen work surface, then stepped on the hob.
     
    I broke my arm when I was four pretending to be Spiderman! XD That's pretty much it for me, I've very cautious so I don't get hurt often.
     
    Well, tough topic for me...

    When I was in being...formed...in my mom, she was driving down the road, 2AM easter morning, getting back from home to florida, and dad in the passanger, roads were clear, and she wasn't drunk, then a truck driver, feel asleep at the wheel, and sped up to over 100 miles per hour, head on collision with our car on the other side of the road, it was such an impact it gave me a caved in chest, yeah different, so im living my life fine with it...

    Now it was my 3rd year in football, our 8th game, and I was starting quaterback... I called a long play to the slot reciever, started the play, lost my protection in the O line, and a linebacker speared me in my chest at full speed...

    The impact cuased some freaky things, and had to end my football career becuase of it... that's the only big injury I have, and by far the worst...
     
    ..I once jumped off my friend's roof into his pool at 2 AM. Apparently, I was a bit too close to the edge of it, so as I landed, my leg hit the side of it, on the concrete ground, and like..broke ._.

    I laughed about it for a few minutes, then realized I was in incredibly pain, and started crying. After that, I was carried off into a van by some of my friends, and was driven off to the hospital, where my parents met up with me. Instead of the response I was hoping to get from them, they just started at my leg, which was currently just..broken towards the ankle, asked "DUDE, WTF DID YOU DO?!?" and..started laughing ._.

    Anyways, i'm fine now, but I was in a cast for a few months after that.

    ..Please do not judge me on how retarded that story was just now, kthx.

    Wow reading that made me ugh.cant look, you must of been in incredible pain...

    My friend BJ had a pool like that with the roof near, I jumped just hurt my bum of the floor in the pool.

    Strangely I have never borken a bone in my body...just my chest inward =/
     
    Wow -- some of you've gotten pretty banged up. Yikes. =/

    My worst injury would have to be when I cracked my rib in an accident. It was a small crack, but hurt for a couple months. The muscle damage wasn't near as bad as it could have been, but it did do some nasty paints and long term spasms and such. :|

    Non-injury related would have to be for the bacterial meningitis. That stunk.
     
    If I have to tell this story again...

    I was playing soccer, me and my friend both ran for the ball and our knee caps collided. He didn't even feel it but my knee cap was shoved two inches to the right. I hopped from quarter field to the goal line (in circles which was very inefficiant). I did handle it very cool and collectedly I might add...even though it was the most pain in my life. Also it took forever for an ambulance to come and then the paramedics sucked at putting in the morphine (the morphine didn't even work after apparently 12 things of it.) o_O

    Runner up is when I was climbing onto my garage roof and the neighbors gutter supporting my feet broke. I fell onto a fence and bounced off, missing my nuts by near inches. I had a bruise the size of a grapefruit on my leg, though.
     
    I broke my arm and wrist rollerblading. Cause instead of falling backwards and landing on my botton, I'll fall forward and land on my arm.
    I got stitches in my head from running into the edge of a wall, cause I was a spastic child.
    I scraped about almost an inch of skin off my finger, when I was dragged past the door and my finger got scraped against something sharp.
     
    i was playing with a ball on my not very good Wooden floors, and a two inch splinter went up my foot. a 40 minute surgery was what took it out, and i got home at the hospitial 12:30 am that day. I had been there since 7:00pm, so it was an okay visit. Other than that i'll perfectly fine usually, except for the little stupid things i do =]

    Ok, so, I was about eh..8 years old? And I decided to go out biking and catch some butterflies while I was at it. I have no idea why I bothered because butterflies were rare to find by my house .___. Anyway, I grabbed the butterfly net, which weighed a little less than I did, it was a big net with a metal rim. So I start to ride my bike, and once I gained speed I lifted up the net, then I lost my balance and then net caught my front wheel which sent me flying forward off my bike. I landed head first and skidded on the road x_x I had a huge road burn mark on my stomach and a bruise on my face.

    Another time, I was six years old and at my crushes birthday party. He wanted to play baseball and I wanted to watch :< So I climbed up their mini tree behind him so I could get a good view. For whatever reason, his parents let him use a metal bat and when he swung, it flung back and hit my in the eye ;; I feel out of the tree and blacked out for about ten minutes. I got a black eye and hadf to go home </3

    Finally, while bike riding through the park when I was about seven, I fell down a ditch and got a TON of scratches from the tree branches cutting me.
     
    My finger once got ripped to the bone in a car accident O_o;;; Dads are clumsy.

    And I hit a car on my bike when I was six. But I forgot how painful it was. >: My face was covered in blood. >: I still does not remember how painful it was D<

    Aaand, I broke my arm D< which I just broke about two weeks ago ... so yeah ^_^ damn cast is still on

    Edit: ooh I remembered one when I was 8 i was riding my bike happily, when suddenly, i ran over a demented curb and i flipped over the handlebars of my bike damn bikes is dangerous >:O
     
    Oh god. I could go on forever. I get hurt at least once a week in ballet. I've never broken or sprained anything but I tend to get very strange injuries.

    My most recent- I accidebtally tore my toenail clean off. And now the nail isn't growing back right. Whatever does grow back is either malformed or it falls off O_o [This has been going on for at least two months .__.]

    Once I cracked my tail bone. Couldn't sit right for weeks O_O Another time I hurt my back so bad that I could even tilt my neck back a millimeter. I know there's more but those are the only ones I can think of.

    i broke my wrist in this year back in September. I was skateboarding down a huge hill, and then i didn't notice the turn, or the car. The car came right at me, so i turned (away from the road, i new i would fall, but atleast i wasn't run-over). Well, then, i ran right over the curb and flew into someone elses yard, and i landed on her stone patch (ouch >_<). I went to the emergency room and had to wear a cast for 6 weeks. I also had a sprained leg and a hurt neck after that for a while too, so i had trouble walking...and turning my head!

    Believe me, it was the worst 6 weeks of my life (and the cast was itchy)!
