What's up with Pokemon Sleep?

Has anyone heard anything about Pokemon Sleep lately? I heard the name come out, and that was about it.

I also thought it was a REALLY weird pitch for a game. All they told us was that it watches us sleep! Why do we WANT it to do that!? That is not a selling point in and of itself! 😆

Nintendo is also working on a new peripheral called the Pokemon Go Plus Plus (not a typo). That is actually its name. The idea is that you'll sleep with the new peripheral and it'll monitor your sleep patterns, apparently. The device has an "embedded accelerometer" that can track how you sleep and then beam it to your phone.

Going to refrain from making judgment here yet, but all I will say is that this sounds like a very ambitious partner project to GO, which seems like the goal, here.
