Hi there Billy, and welcome to PC!
Everyone here has played a Pokemon game or has been into the franchise at some point so if you were looking for one of the best places to meet fellow Pokemon fans, you definitely found the right forum for that. PC has been going strong for 10 years and with now over 400,000 members it's still one of the best places for Pokemon fans to hang out. And you don't have to be into the anime to still love Pokemon, and since I heard you're playing Sapphire right now why not pop over by the Advance Generation forums here?
Also, going by your avatar I assume Gengar is your fave Pokemon? It's still a fan favorite since the days of Red, Blue and Yellow, and has been getting better with every new game. Since PC is a big forum, there's loads of topics you can check out and people you can meet. If you ever need help, you can always contact a staff member a.k.a. those in the blue, orange and red. Also, reading the rules is important, and I do hope to see you around the forums. Have fun Billy!

Hi there Billy my name is Diablo and just like you I used to play Pokémon like it would be my last and had to cut down. PC is a great place to start if you are looking to get back into the games. the vast topics and awesome people here means that there will be heaps of things to talk about and heaps of friends to be made. Ahh, I remember back in the day when I was younger and my interest in Pokémon always fluctuated from loving it to no longer being interested xD but since I was 15 I have always kept my interest in Pokémon. And not to worry, I'm sure we have quite a few members here who don't watch the anime either but love the games (like me ;D)
Is there any part of PC that interests you? We have all sorts of Pokémon talk here, from all the generation games, to fan-fics, to art, to roleplaying, and to emulation/hacking! :)
