    Which music do you think was the coolest in all of the pokemon handheld games? I personally liked the 2nd (GSC) the best. It just seemed to be more exciting and dramatic. I always liked the music when you would battle your rival Silver/???. All of the other ones just don't seem catchy.
     
    I like the D/P music in some of the battles... like the Shirona one and the ones against Darkrai and Shelmi. >.<
     
    I love the music for the rival battles up to crystal. The rival battle was killed in ruby. I love the music when you fight archie/maxie. I also like the music when you fight E4 in FR/LG and the frontier brain music. I have my battle against Noland recorded and I play it for the music. I love that music.
     
    i dont know if i can vote on any particular one... they all have their ups and downs. im one of those people who spends way too much time listening to pokemon music and showing it to my friends only to have them look at me strange, lol. but lets see, the first and second gen games bring back the most memories, gosh i wish they would remake gold/silver. i love the music in battle frontier, and i remember going crazy about the battle tower music in crystal. i think they butchered it in d/p. i love the music in frlg, maybe only because its remixes of the old songs, i remember having to record the "lake of rage remix" cus i loved it so much. but right now the music ringing in my mind is that of d/p, i LOVE the music in the snow route, and fighting gymleaders and cynthia. theres alot of other music that i love that i cant think of right now, im sure they'll get to me.
     
    I love the R/S/E music better than the others.
    Route 119, Route 110, Route 120, and other music tracks are my favorites.

    Some of the D/P music tracks are good too, like the music for routes 216/217, the legendary battle music, and Route 222.

    Yeah, I love the music in ruby on the route you catch feebas. It rocks.
     
    I like all the music, just some more then others, as in order.

    1st: G/S/C
    2nd: FR/LG
    3rd: D/P
    4th: R/S/E
    5th: R/B/Y
     
    This is tough. I guess I like bits and pieces of everything. I like Gold/Silver's music for the elite 4. The building and the battles, especially Lance's music. I like Ruby/Sapphire's surfing music and certain city's music. Emerald had Battle Fronteir which was awesome. Firered/Leafgreen have the best battle music. Diamond/Pearl I like Victory Road.

    I have yet to play through D/P (my computer doesn't have enough memory to run this game normally and I don't have a DS) but I've watched tons of videos online to say that the battle music for D/P is one of the best battle music in the series. I haven't heard much other music.

    I prefer the original beeps and bloops of the original RBY than the newer remixed FR/LG, but this is only judging by videos I've seen and some firsthand playing at Target.

    In general, the Second generation has better music than the others though.
     
    D/P's legendary battle themes are simply epic. (y)
     
    My favourite Pokemon music generation is FireRed/LeafGreen music. But it is not in the poll. Anwyay, I will choose Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald music.

    Congrats on 4500 posts! I like the E4 and champ battles for FR/LG. It's really catchy. To bad (using Richard Steel's term) the E4 are dirt...they don't deserve that music XD. The music when you fight the Regi's is really catchy, and the music in the seafloor cavern scared me to death!
     
    I wish I wouldn't have sold my gold version, as it had some of the best music. Islands 4-7 of the sevii islnds in LG feature gold music. I love that music, very...un-annoying.
     
    Pearl & Diamond.

    It's pretty dramatic. I love the legendary music too.
