Water, of course, followed closely by Ice. I like H2O :D

I can't believe Dark only has one vote. That would probably be my third choice. I also really like Fire and Dragon.

Fire, Ice, Electric, Grass, Water, and Ghost...The six best types that I personally like.
 
easily decided, fire. so many of the wolf pokemon, such as houndoom, flareon and the legend itself arcanine *bows down* belong to that type. not to mention that the moves that pokemon of that type learn are so epical.​
 
Agrees with the post above. Fire is incredible, in the anime and in reality as well. Knowing that Arcanine is a fire type makes it all the better.
 
My absolute favorite type is definitely ice (kick some butt with an Ice Beam from Glaceon and you'll know why ^^)

I also love the psychic, water, grass...

Pretty much all of the Eeveelution types + dragon.
 
My favorite type is Dark.

Ahah, I don't know why either! It's like, one of the "least effective" types or something...

Gotta agree with this one, too. Even though Water is my favorite type, Pokémon like Houndoom, Charizard, and Arcanine (which is probably my favorite Pokémon overall) push Fire up into the top tier...plus it's just cool to fry your opponents with Flamethrower. ^^

I agree with this one as well. Fire types are considered as one of the most used types in the game and I bet trainers will keep a slot for some Fire type Pokemon in their party but I like the Water types and I think they're also strong and they can be a strong opponent in battles and stall their opponents long enough.
 
Dark. I dont know why hardly anyone likes it. Its personally my favourite, because well, darkness is awesome. I'm even on the dark side! Look at my name!

Weavile and Umbreon are among my favorite pokemon, so theres another reason.
 
I chose fire, just because it the most AWESOME and cool type!
I love it, best moves, best pokemon!
 
I'd chose dark types especially absol!
