2nd Gen What's your favorite starter?

I never like water types.
I loved and love Cyndaquil and Chikorita.
I always have loved the grass- and fire- starters.

Mostly Chikorita, though.

I'd have to go with Totodile, although it's purely an aesthetic choice.

Cyndaquil has always struck me as having the blandest design of any starter. He's okay as far as stats go, but nothing's ever really endeared him to me. I like Chikorita, but I always end up comparing it in my mind to Bulbasaur. And that is a fight it is destined to lose.

Cyndaquil is my favorite, it was the starter I chose in Silver Version. I also like Totodile, because I chose it in Crystal. Chikorita is certainly my least favorite; its ugly, weak, and annoying.

mudkip, squirtle, charmander, totodile, cyndaquil, chimchar, turtwig, and piplup are all cute.
The ones I use the most though, are Charizard, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr.

When I played Silver/Gold/Crystal as a kid, I've always started with Cyndaquil (unless I was trying to complete my Pokedex). But now, I've taken a liking to Totodile, so he's really my favorite starter from the Johto region. I just wish the game would still be easy if I didn't evolve him.

I beat gold with ONLY a cyndaquil, it's always been my favorite pokemon.

Cyndaquil. I really like it's evolution and moves. Totodile would be second, then Chikorita

It's a toss up between Cyndaquil or Totodile, I love Typhlosion and Feraligatr both because they look so sweet.
