    4. The series has always avoided Giovanni playing a bigger role in the story, instead we get his lacky's doing their motto and blasting off almost every episode.
    3. They won't stop introducing new pokemon, ugh. (I might as well learn a new language)

    What manga? There are loads of official Pokemon manga out there like Golden Boys, Pokespecial, Dengeki Pikachu, Magical Pokemon Journey, that new DP one...

    For some voices, like Ron Perlman, it's the equivalent of voice porn. Shifty eyes.

    1. The endings, particularly when it's cheap deus ex machina.
    2. The lack of any overt presence of Team Rocket, Aqua/Magma or any of the other video game Big Bads. Especially after the Mewtwo arc and the first 40 episodes of Advanced, as they were clearly building toward something.
    3. Lack of reunions (Thanks for messing with my head, Rival OP).
    4. Why no one admonishes Ash for frying up everything in sight, or creating massive collateral damage.
    5. Dawn's near constant stream of Contest failures. You're the daughter of a Top Co-ordinator -- get better!
     
    1; Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire... sorry to people who like the newer games, I just felt they weren't up to par with old games.
    2; Pokemon TV series, showing in the morning instead of afterschool everyday.
    3; Not remember any of the movies save the first one (thats more of a self dissappointment!)

    5; Finding out that Mai, Misty allowed themselves to be photographed nude

    Hahah! I had completely forgotten about that, I only watched a few of the "newer" pokemon episodes and I totally saw that one..

    Here are my top 5:

    5. Ash not evolving his Cyndaquil. I mean, after seeing the episode "You're a Star, Larvitar", I thought for sure he was going to evolve it. He loses to a guy who goes on about the importance of evolving your Pokemon. Then, he sees this guy training his Quilava, and realizes that it's Cyndaquil's evolved form. He then remembers what the other trainer told him about the importance of evolving your Pokemon in order to prevail in the Silver Conference. He was just begging to evolve Cyndaquil there, but... typical Ash...

    4. Brock not getting Charmander in the first season. He deserved it much more than Ash did, but, of course, Ash just had to have all three starter Pokemon.

    3. There are never any Nintendo Events in Canada, like a previous poster stated.

    2. In my opinion, the Pokemon Heroes dub was terrible compared to the Japanese version. They cut out the beginning, the voice actors were just plain bad in general (I have no idea why they had to give Latias and Latios those awful screechy voices), and we had to listen to rehashed Pokemon theme songs instead of the catchy songs they had in the opening and credits of the Japanese version.

    1. The fact that Ash never seems to win any tournaments. The Orange League was an exception, but every other time, it seems he's booted out in the quarterfinals or before, only for us to see the person who beat him get beaten by another trainer.

    5. Ash never winning the tournaments such as Indigo League, Silver Conference, etc. Therefore, the series will never end and it will be the same process over and over again, which will soon make the series boring for all fans.

    5. Ash never winning tournaments like some people above me said. I hope wins the Sinnoh one....then again, I'm not bothering to watch this show anymore.

    I read on another forum that Pokemon is based towards teens in Japan...and knowing how pathetically sensitive America is about stuff like that, maybe that's why this show stinks now. Or maybe it's Pokemon USA.
