What's Your Overall Opinion on Shooti?

    When I saw the preview for the first Best Wishes episode, I thought Shooti was going to be a nice trainer. Boy was I wrong.

    It's like Paul with green hair and a camera at hand.

    And the way he battled against Ash was more like a professional trainer than a beginning.

    I'm not the biggest fan of him since I don't want to have another depressing, negative rival that will probably take the whole season to learn some lesson.

    Honestly though. Shooti just seems plain annoying. Hes basically Paul just loosened up a little bit with somewhat Gary quantities...
     
    He's the worst possible traits of Paul, Gary, and Drew mixed into one arrogant bastard.

    Just like Algebra, Geometry, and Vector Calculus in Anylitical Geometry >__>
     
    He's a decent rival. I think it's kind of funny that he calls Ash a hillbilly. Hopefully Shooti will eventually show Ash that he needs to quit slacking off and get to some serious training. Ash's experience really doesn't seem to be helping him out all too much.
     
    For me, he doesn't seem different enough from either Paul or Gary to seem like a great rival. It doesn't help that Ash is yet to beat him - I'd much rather that in future battles, Ash at least wins some of the time (and that's not as an Ash fan who thinks he should win all the time, but just to make things seem more competitive between them).
     
    If he's as bad as some of y'all are saying then I LOVE HIM! He seems so smug and cool and can make Ash feel really small =3 Lovely.
     
    Basically, Shooti is a combination of Todd Snap and Paul because he takes pictures and called Ash a weak trainer, even though Ash had been a trainer longer than he was.
     
    I have no problem with Shooti belittling Ash at this point. He my be like Paul, but at least Paul wasn't a beginning trainer. So for to Shooti to call Ash weak is true, Ash or at least the writers thus far as depicted him as a weak trainer. Until Ash shows Shooti, this demeanor toward Ash will continue.
