I am currently replaying Emerald, I have just beaten the elite 4 and now training for Battle Frontier.

Vaporeon (The Tank)
  • Max HP and Special Attack
  • Surf, Ice Beam, Waterfall, Bite

Hitmonlee (Physical Sweeper)
  • Max Speed and Attack, plus a naturally good Sp. Defense
  • Rolling Kick, Hi Jump Kick, Brick Break, Rock Smash

Haunter (because I have no way to trade lol)
  • Max Speed and Sp. Attack
  • Shadow Punch, Confuse Ray, Night Shade, Shadow Ball

Graveler (same as Haunter)
  • Max Defenses, hope for the best with Rollout
  • Rollout, Earthquake, Strength, Rock Slide

Pidgeot (fun revenge killer)
  • Max Speed and Attack
  • Fly, Wing Attack, Mirror Move, Quick Attack

Nidoking (um, yeah, he dies a lot, but he's strong)
  • Max Attack and Sp. Attack
  • Rock Slide, Cut, Dig, Shock Wave

My team benefits from the lack of a physical/special split, as well as the fact that the NPC lack strategy most of the time. Oh, for the days when brute attacks were god enough to beat the Elite 4...

my emerald team is all female, and in my opinion, quite elegant ^_^

All level 45, just beat Sabrina, heading back to Cinnebar to do the Mansion/7th badge and do some training.
 
Just restarted my Sapphire. I chose Treecko as a starter. Would of have loved to gone for a shiny one, but oh well. Definitely using a Ralts this time ^_^
 
UPDATE: Just got to Roxanne. And yes! I did manage to capture a Female Ralts. Called it Yuki, because wai the hell nawtt <33

I wish I could catch that Jigglypuff north of Rustboro. We'll see though.

I've had many teams over the years, so I'll give you 3 teams that I had!

First of all, let's start with Pokemon Ruby. Because I was a little kid, I didn't really have a strategy. It was mainly using my starter. Here it is!:

Blaziken, level 81:
-Mirror Move
-Sky Uppercut
-Flamethrower (It was Blaze Kick for a long time, but I found out I could buy Flamethrower at the gamecorner!)
-Slash

Groudon, level 45:
The usual moves it had when catched. The only problem was I thought it was the only legendary in the game so I used my Master ball :(

Zangoose, level 36:
Because it's my favourite Pokémon, and still is, I raised it for a bit.
-Crush Claw
-Slash
-Swords Dance
-Quick Attack

Zigzagoon, level 12:
Better known as the HM Slave of the 3rd gen, even tho I used it for 2 HM's. It knew the moves:
-Cut
-Rock Smash
-Headbutt
-Tail Whip

Tentacool, level 23 (Nicknamed him for some reason into Acooltent...)
-Surf
-Dive
-Waterfall
-Constrict

Aron, level 11
-Strenght
-Tackle
and two other moves I don't know..


That was Ruby. Now onto my first ever Pokémon Game ever played, but still too young to understand. This was 2004 BTW, even tho the game came out in 1999 for my country.
It was my birthday and my parents bought me a Gameboy Advance, with for some reason Pokemon Blue bought on the interwebz.

Heres the team! (This is the exact team I used on Firered, a game I got a few months later. The moves are different tho)

Charizard, level 100 (yup, my first level 100 :) )
Sandslash, level 52 (It was my favourite Pokemon on that game so I know the level it was
Pikachu, level unknown (I found it in Viridian Forest, so I caught it :) )
Graveler (Golem on Firered), Level unknown. (I liked Geodudes scream, so I caught it because of that :) )


Last team is on Pokemon Gold. I wanted to be nostalgic so I asked my parents for a copy of Pokemon Gold. I still have the same save-file, so this is the team!

Typhlosion, level 81 (My favourite starter of all time!)

These were my 3 favourite teams ever used! I have many more teams, but or they were underleveled or there was no story behind it!
 
I recently restarted my file on FireRed, so my team is still short and pretty low leveled. In this run, I decided I would be using Pokemon I normally don't use, or ones I haven't used in awhile. Ya know, just to shake things up.

All of them level 100, trained by spamming Pokemon League.
