My team for Emerald was a Rayquaza, Blaziken, and Raichu.
In LeafGreen, my team was Kadabra and Raichu.

He punches people and takes no names. This was also when he only had Guts and the power to dodge attacks.

This Pidgeot is so awesome it growes gold feathers. It also lays golden eggs. Major cool points.

Take Blastoise and double the level of smugness when something tries to punch it. It Screeches for Machamp and sets off Earthquakes when its pissed. I love it.

Hopefully this is the right place for the following:

Just came back to Pokemon in anticipation for gen VI, and I'm going to be redoing all my games from gen III to V before I eventually get X or Y, since I've been out for a while.

Started with Sapphire, only a couple of hours in so I'll list the team I intend to have:

Sceptile
Gardevoir
Altaria/Salamence (never trained either, so I'll do both)
Sableye (will be replaced with Absol)
Ninetails

As for the last slot I'm not sure if an electric or a water type would benefit me more. What do you guys think?

Also, if there are any glaring weaknesses that I'm missing, please point them out.
Likewise, if you have any suggestions on what I can use as substitutes in the early game (Treecko, Ralts and Sableye until gym four or five might get boring), please feel free to share.

I apologise if this is the wrong place for questions about team-building, but I couldn't find a better one.

Jeez I feel like a complete newbie now, it's been aaaaaages since I played any Poké games. Too long :(
