Here is what my team is going to be:

Meginum - Female - Gillie
Tyranitar - Female - Malificent
Drifbluim - Male - Nuru
{Shiny} Ninetales - Female - Divine
{Shiny} Vaporeon - Female - Bea Ulata
Blissey - Female (Of course) - Pristine

I can't wait till I will be able to see them follow me. ^3^
 
I simply love the Johto reigon!
I would choose Cyndaquil or maybe Totodile.
My team would be this:

I know I do not have a electric type but I will deal with it when the time comes when I need one.

When I get my game the first time I play I'll be having the following team:

Totodile, Pidgey, Elekid, Bellsprout, Magby, Dratini. That will be my team to let me get used to the changes in the games.
 
I'll just probably trade over loads of Pokémon from my Platinum trades... a little boring.. =/
 
Gyms Team:Feraligator,Slowbro,Red Gyardos,Xatu,Hitmontop,and an HM Slave.
E4 Team: Feraligator,Gengar,Scizor,Hitmontop,Tyranitar, and Yanmega
 
By the time I reach the Elite Four I will have:
Feraligatr Lv50
Gengar Lv47
Red Gyarados Lv48
Charizard Lv49
Shiny Raichu Lv46
Ho-oh Lv45
 
The first time I play it I'm just catching everything and using favorites...then I'm trading over eggs

So much nostalgia. (Watching a vid with GB sounds.)

I can't have just one team. I have to raise several at a time.

Gligar, Ariados, Quagsire, Staryu, Poliwrath, Red Gyarados, Feraligatr, Typhlosion, Meganium, Hoothoot, every Bird in Pokemon, Seaking, I must use as many as possible. Charizard, Dragonite, Porygon, Xatu, Steelix, Rhydon, everyone's fave: Ampharos, Eevee. Ditto, Phanpy, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Smoochum <3, Magby <3, Elekid <3, Girafarig <3, Togepi <3333, Dewgong, Jynx, Pidgey, Clefairy, Tododile, Sneasel Breeding tons. I'm going to use as much as possible. I'll use Furret for the first time. (love the following feature, can't just have six.

For beginning, I'll use: Chikorita, Butterfree, Hoothoot, Gastly, Furret, and Pidgey.

I'll use Sandshrew for cut and another Sandshrew to have good moves.
I love Nintendo/Game Freak. <3

When I have Meganium, I'll teach her Outrage, Synthesis, Ancient Power, and Energy Ball. (I'll trade her to Platinum temporarily so she can visit a move tutor so she can learn Outrage and AncientPower.) She'll beat Clair and Lance with ease. <3
Feraligatr: Focus Blast, Waterfall, Ice Fang, and another move.
Typhlosion: Lava Plume, and other attacks

^^ Win. It will be difficult but that will eventually be my team, probably be complete by the time I get to Kanto
Also, I expect people to say, "Why Togekiss?" but with that moveset how can't I choose Togekiss?
 
I MIGHT solo the first game just 'cause.

Still haven't decided on these yet. I want to have a team of pokemons I like, but I don't want to be too powerful cause it'll make the game feel too easy. >A<
 
I don't know who my team will be yet. I started planning it all out, but then started trying to make a team that would both be practical (like contain HM's) but would also have the right natures for competitive battling and everything, and started getting stressed out. : [

Probably starting with Totodile, though.
