I'm planning to have these members on my team..

My future team will consist of these pokemon (to use in-game only):

1 - Tyranitar
2 - Feraligatr
3 - Houndoom
4 - Espeon
5 - Dragonite
6 - Ampharos

Is this a good team? And what moves should they have? Could you advise me please? :)

Team has changed a lot over the course of the game. Just got to Kanto and it's:

Lapras lv 43
Skarmory lv 42
Pupitar lv 43
Scyther lv 45
Hitmontop lv 43
Magmar lv 43

This is exact team that I beat the E4 with. A bit under-leveled, but I like it. :]

kingler (i keep him around for HM moves)
fearow (to escort me from city to city)

i'm currently scouting for a new team to face off against Red. however, i'm not sure where to start. any suggestions?

I beat the Elite Four with

Feraligatr
Raikou
Scyther
Vulpix
Gyrados (red of course)
Lugia

This won't be my final team, I'm not sure that I am capable of setting a permanent team of six.
 
Well, I just beat the Elite Four with this team:

Typhlosion
Lugia
Kangaskhan
Gyarados (red one)
Raikou

I also had a Larvitar I was attempting to train...that didn't work out well....

I had a Furret with me for the longest time....I may just use her for the Pokethlon. I may also replace Kangaskhan with Absol once I get one.
 
I'm currently in the Whirl Islands soft-resetting for a Timid Lugia, but my team is currently:

Typhlosion Lv. 43 (Quilly - The nickname is what I named my Cyndaquil back in my Silver days.)
Pidgeot Lv. 42 (Arashi)
Ampharos Lv. 42 (Ixion)
Scizor Lv. 42 (Kotetsu)
Vaporeon Lv. 42 (Aqwer)

Normally I don't use ubers in my in-game team, but I'm making an exception for Lugia, since I used him in my Silver game and he's one of my favorite Pokemon ever. I'll EV train him so I can make an uber team, which I've been meaning to do for fun for a while.

After I beat Morty I went into Mahogany Town for some reason (I never did that in the older games) and went up and caught the Red Gyarados. And I used my first Gyarados in the battle. Now I can't decide which to keep. So.

Going to swap Pidgey for Doduo soon, maybe exchange an eventually Nidoking for Marowak, and adding something else. Can't wait for my trusty Poliwhirl to follow me around!

Meganium aka Sequoia lvl 34 Sassy nature, likes to relax.

Ampharos aka Stripes lvl 34 Quirky nature.

Kadabra lvl 34 too...forgot the nature.

Lv18 Psycho (Timid male Kadabra)
Lv10 Eevee (Careful female Eevee)
Lv14 Geodude (HM SLAVE)
Lv9 Bellsprout (HM SLAVE)

First plan was to level up Togepi to Lv28 to learn Wish, breed with Pikachu, and then breed with Eevee, but sadly learned Pikachu is not available until Kanto region. Thought it was earlier for some strange reason. So, will have to think of something else, unless someone can let me borrow a female Pikachu for a day or trade me for one. I will have to check the Trade thread.
 
My Soul Silver is at 7/8 Johto badges right now, and I'm using Golbat, Seadra, Typhlosion, Hypno, Piloswine, and Pidgeot
 
I haven't got it yet, but when I do I'm definately gonna start with Totodile as he was my first starter when I first played Gold, and my first starter I picked as I'd only had Yellow before.

My final team will probably be something like:
Noctowl,
Haunter,
Crobat,
Umberon,
Alakazam,
Dragonite.

Not very balanced I know, but I've chosen to follow Karen's words "Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites"

Instead of Eevee, I originally planned on having Jumpluff, but it was a bore to train, so then I had an Arbok, but then I realized that I didn't have Umbreon! Crazy! =D
