So anyone who has worked with people has most likely heard some things that make you look at them and wonder "Are you really THAT stupid?"
For those who don't know I work at a place called Round 1...I always tell people its the Japanese version of Dave & Busters but with more. I work on the Amusement side and sell you cards to play the games. You can get a card for credits (to win tickets and prizes) or you can get time play for an hour and play ONLY green swiper games (no tickets or prizes).
I had a lady come up to my counter while talking on the phone and looking at the price sign. I'll even leave a LINK to what our sign says. She stood there for a few minutes so I went and helped a few people in our Redemption Room which is pretty much 2 steps to the other counter. I come back she's still on the phone and looks at me and says "How many credits do you get for $10?" I look at her and say "You get 44 credits." What I wanted to say was "You've been staring at the sign for 10 fucking minutes how many credits did you think you were getting you dumbass!"
I also hate the people who do the following three things:
- Look at our big sign for 10 minutes and then come up to the counter and stare at the exact same sign we have sitting on the counter for another 10 minutes as if its the first time they've seen it and still don't know what they want.
- People who won't look at the signs and then come up to the counter and say they don't understand "how this works" and you try to explain it to them like a 5 year old and they still play stupid.
- People who come up to the counter and ask for a $10 card (mostly on the weekends because time play will be $10 for an hour or you can get $10 worth of credits) and we always assume its $10 worth of credits...OR they ask for time play not realizing they can only play certain games and then come back up 10 mins later saying that can't play anything because they got time play. They get pissed saying no one told them. Well I mean you never asked so we assumed you knew what you were getting. We can't help you if you don't ask.
