when everyone will stop misheard butch

    why everyone in chronicles,misheard butch by calling him with random names
     
    Haven't seen Butch and Cassidy for ages. I'm not sure they've appereard in Sinnoh, or even since the VA's changed.

    It would be weird to hear Butch without his usual graty, crackly voice. I don't think it'll have the same humorous effect.
     
    Butch and Cassidy have appeared in Sinnoh already in the episode "Sleight of Sand!"

    Anyway, they mispronounce Butch's name because it's a running gag. Just like Brock falling in love and Team Rocket.
     
    The characters also always mispronounce Dr Namba's name and he always phones them up and shouts "IT'S NAMBA".
     
    I don't forsee them ending the running gag of giving Butch the wrong name any time soon. After all, we see so little of Butch and Cassidy these days that we hardly get any exposure to the gag.
